What about bets that were placed and confirmed before the system went down? Those are still good but if won, would be paid only when the system comes back?

the system is pretty much down at the moment, but rest assured as Direct Bet is the best sportsbook around, they will fix this issue soon

Unfortunately we don't know how long it will take because it is not in our control.

The data center where our betting server is located is currently experiencing networking problems. They are working to fix it right now and we are waiting for them.

This is not the norm. It is part of the technical issues described above.

All issues are resolved now and the payouts are instant as usual.

In DirectBet, bets settle automatically and your winnings are sent directly to your wallet within minutes of the event completion (and in some markets even in-play before the event completion).

It can take up to 1 hour, but usually it is much faster. Instant Payouts are our top priority.
