I had a bet I placed right before site went down that was refunded to me. So that is a decent sign.
Lucky you. They didn't refund any of the bets I made when the site was down at the weekend. In fact, they sent me an email yesterday saying that it isn't possible to refund bets when the site is down and said that they would never do so because it would stop Directbet being provably fair

your site got no paid ddos protection??
Of course they have a layer of DDOS protection, but any site can be taken down by a DDOS and protection is never 100%.

Their poker is provably fair. Click "reveal secret". You'll see. All I see is that you lost your bets, taking a long time to process means what? The biggest sportsbook/betting site in the BTC world right now is waiting to steal your 800k doge?

All-In Poker Flips is provably fair. What Provably Fair means is that there is no way we can cheat you by picking cards to make you lose. The shuffle of the deck are completely random and you can verify that after the completion of the game. In the following link we explain how the deck is shuffled and how you can verify that it is provably fair : http://www.directbet.eu/Rules.cshtml#AllInPokerPlease review the information there and let us know if you have any questions or concerns. You don't have to take my word for it. I suggest that you consult with independent 3rd parties and reputable members of this forum who understand in provably fairness. Send them to the link above and they will confirm to you that there is absolutely no way that we can influence the shuffle of the deck. As to why your bet was not processed immediately, that's because for security reasons, our automated betting system first waited for your initial bet transfer to have 1 confirmation before dealing the cards. The delay has nothing to do with the outcome of the bet. Once you have a longer betting history with us, this delay will no longer happen.

Further, there is nothing that prevents you from creating (or changing) the "secret" after the blockchain ID is generated.

Maybe you need to actually read the page that DirectBet linked you to: Obviously we can not reveal the secret before the deck is shuffled because this will allow you to know in advance the outcome of the game. Therefore, we scramble the secret in a special technique called hashing using SHA256 cryptographic algorithm and present the hashed secret in the Bet Status page. The only way to reproduce the hashed secret is by hashing the original secret. Later on, after the game is over, we will reveal the original secret used, and you will be able to hash it yourself and verify that the result is identical to the hashed secret presented to you before the game. This will prove that we did indeed used the secret that was designated to your bet.

Read the link. The secret is hashed and presented to you when you order your bet. When you click "place bet" and are given the address to send to, this is when the secret is created. So it's created before you even send funds. Lookout for the hashed secret ID next time. There clearly is prevention from them altering the secret, they are the biggest bitcoin book for a reason and some of the most knowledgeable people on provable fairness here at BCT have evaluated their site long & hard and found no problems.

Usually bets are graded very quickly after events have concluded, but I have an outstanding wager. Are there any issues going on right now with the site?
update: thank you DirectBet it was settled. Usually do asian handicap wagers take longer to grade for soccer?

Yes sometimes Soccer Asian Handicap bets take longer than usual to settle (an hour or two instead of a few minutes).

Hey, I placed a bet on your site: transaction ID: fb5cb60247b67560f2a0a760bec82f90705cf140f6705da9810d942fe4dd36fb
It's showing the confirmed are 1.01; however, the previous bets are showing the odds are 1.11. I am unsure how the confirmed odds dropped that much when every other sports book is showing 1.1 or 1.2.
Please get back to me, thanks. For this game, I have placed around 8-10 BTC (to confirm my identity). Thanks again.
EDIT: Your site is showing that the current odds are 1.09. Just wondering, is this glitch....
