read the description mate.

It doesnt really care about cpu or gpu, but if you go over 100kh/s you get kicked out. it's a sort of a measure to level the playing field.

lol. 10% premined.  That's insane.  I hope you guys realize that it will take about 1 million blocks to reach 37 million.  At 30 see a block, that' over a year of mining from ALL OF MINERS to reach that 10% mark.  Basically, the Dev is going to have 50% of all coins in the 1st year.

HOW is this not an issue for everyone. look at DIME coin. HUGE pre mines never make it

Block 1 ---> 37 Million NYAN Block Reward  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

SO? Mine it anyway Tongue

Although it's a pretty good way of hiding a premine from peeps who rely on getmininginfo and stuff and don't read posts fully.

But they're silly anyway.

This coin is doomed to fail for many reasons :

1. Copyright infrigement - Nyan Cat creators are Chrostoper Torres and Charles Schmidt - and they have already sued for infringement Smiley

Code:
Lawsuit
In May 2013, Christopher Torres and Charles Schmidt, the creators of Nyan Cat and Keyboard Cat respectively, jointly sued 5th Cell and Warner Bros. for copyright infringement and trademark infringement over the appearance of these characters
without permission in the Scribblenauts series of video games. Torres and Schmidt have registered copyrights on their characters and have pending trademark applications on the names.[23][24] Torres released a statement saying that he had tried
to obtain compensation from 5th Cell and Warner Bros. for commercial use of the character, but was "disrespected and snubbed" multiple times. [25][26] The suit was settled in September 2013, with Torres and Schmidt being paid for the use of the
characters.[27]

2. 10% Pre-mined. How greedy can one be.

There are CPU rigs that get 128kh/s on the cloud.

[ POOLS

Special pools that will reward CPU Miners:

http://nyancpu.awesomemining.co.uk/index.php (CPU ONLY)
http://nyan.luckyminers.com/ (CPU + GPU)
http://nyan.bitember.com/ (CPU + GPU)

Regular Pools

http://nyan.awesomemining.co.uk/index.php
http://nyan.antisecurity.de
http://omnominator.com   ( p2pool  ) ( currently mining doge )
http://nyan.coinium.org
http://nyan.pcfil.com/

If YOUR POOL IS NOT ON THIS LIST PM ME OR DRAGNAR!

- People with GPU's will be kicked out of the "CPU ONLY" pool
- "CPU + GPU" Pools will work like a regular pool, but will reward CPU Miners

Its very important to us that people are able to mine NYAN with no problems. Lately we've seen a lot of bad pools advertising all over, scamming people out of their coins.
We consider the pools we post to be safe, and when mining starts we will be looking closely to be sure that all our pools are performing well.
I also ask to all the SERIOUS pool owners not to spam the forum with adds. If your pool is good we will add it to our pool list, just pm us.

2. 10% Pre-mined. How greedy can one be.

3.  Alleged CPU-miner giveaway.

There is no way this will ever work.  It completely distorts the economics of mining, and is unsustainable, besides.  I'm amazed at the number of people blindly saying the 10% premine is for CPU miner giveaways -- how exactly do you (a) expect this NOT to be exploited horribly (b) to actually work in practice?  If reward for a shitty CPU mining = reward for a GPU mining how do you think this is going to play out?  Nevermind how the CPU-miner payout calculation is going to be performed (the 'developer' gives no hints).  And if by some miracle there really is a plan, for how long do you really think that is sustainable with a 10% premine?  It's not sustainable -- it's a scam.

4.  We can't trust the developer.

The developer holds 37million coins.  Since 33.7 coins are mined every 30s, this means it'd take 381 days to mine 37 million coins - then the rest of us, collectively, would have the same number of coins. Yay.

In other words, FOR MORE THAN ONE WHOLE YEAR, the value of your mining is completely at the mercy of a person with absolutely zero history or credibility. Why would you trust this guy not to dump everything he has, regardless of what it does to the price, all the while laughing his way to the Lamborghini dealership?  That's right, you wouldn't, if you had any sense.

Scam, scam, scam, scam.

Anybody who mines this coin just encourages more scamming.
