guys i want to buy xcp coins, where can i do this? i mean which market

you can buy them on the counterparty dex.  trade btc from your address directly for xcp. 

can't see xcp/btc pair there, and can't see how to register there...

maybe you can go into trouble of explaining how this can be done? in most basic terms.

There are many concerns about counterparty because many people don't have a strong opinion towards counterparty. Instead of asking here, why don't you try it yourself because you can submit your BTC wallet address and starts withdrawing from there if you are not comfortable with it?

You can check the status of the network but it still works fine and you can take withdraw without any problem if you have access to your wallet there. XCP was a wonderful experiment but it failed to improve its platform to meet the requirement of new model of the blockchain based business.

Many coins that were very profitable on us investors last 2017 are now dead, left behind or gasping for breath. But this is the reality as they are all competing to reach the top. Even Bittrex and Poloniex are nearing to its end.

Don't simply get into a conclusion because most of the coin which has some potential during the last bull run is now not performing well. Previously we have seen some potential like Bittrex and poloniex are slowly decreasing their volume in the market. Still, we can hold a potential coin in the market due to there is a chance to increase their prices.

Yes, people who are holding the XCP are waiting for it to recover the price because there are many people who are waiting for the XCP to recover its price. Maybe we are in a complete downturn, which we don't know whether XCP will recover it's price or not.

Core devs killed all competition to their lightning network, that killed Counterparty and Omni for now, it was deliberate.

If the LN doesn't work what will Core & Blockstream do then, is it likely they would add capacity with bigger blocks?

Maybe they would revive Counterparty themselves ...

I have learned that the only exchange I wish to trade on is binance. So many other sites listing coins one day and then delisting a couple months down the line. Binance is well trusted and has the lowest trading fees in the industry.

Yes, people who are holding the XCP are waiting for it to recover the price because there are many people who are waiting for the XCP to recover its price. Maybe we are in a complete downturn, which we don't know whether XCP will recover it's price or not.

If you have a hard time determining whether XCP will recover or not, just rely on the advances of technology and innovation. If XCP devs are still innovating with groundbreaking tech then it is just the market that is bearish. However, if no work is done, XCP will truly become obsolete and nobody wants to hold that.

Wow it sounds good when someone show interest in any coin than he must have some inside info about future movement. I also have some coins from very long time but it is terrible to see what is happening at the moment no exchange on the board than why you are showing interest in it?

Nah, you can't blame Core. LN and Counterparty achieve different things. They have different goals and were never in competition with each other.

Counterparty has been on a continual decline since it started. Its a great idea and, besides Omni, the first of its kind. Its just cheaper and faster to create and move tokens on Ethereum. If anything I think Counterparty could have used some marketing help back in its heyday. Tokenization just never really caught on, despite all the hype. Look at most ETH tokens: dead, or dying. The real problem is there's just no substantial point behind tokenizing things.

I had done some transactions with counter wallet and I still have the seed but when I open the wallet or check the addresses on explorer, it doesnt show any transactions. Is there any other way to check it.?
