This is the only cryptographically proven fair Bitcoin blackjack site on the internet:

https://bitjack21.com/

Added to my newbie list, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=75883.

Love the site, always a fun and fair game!

Not sure if it's possible, but a few things I'd really like to see...

Any chance you'd ever consider adding multi-player table tournaments? Say 6 people on a table, possibly multiple tables and rounds if there are enough players!?

I'd love to see a surrender option... Any chance of seeing that option? (I can hope)

House rules where the dealer hits a soft 17? I play at my local casino almost every night and it's weird seeing the dealer staying on a soft 17! Not sure I've ever seen this at any other casino...

Also, how about being able to choose multi-denom table options? I think I remember reading somewhere that you need to keep a 1:32 or so ratio (2-50, 3-75, 4-100, etc) but would you be able to offer the player the option to "sit at" a higher (or lower) stakes table?

A referral program would be really cool too! I've sent a number of people from sealswithclubs (BTC Poker Site) to bitjack21. Either a payout per player, or small portion of their losses would be cool!

Anyways, thanks for the kickass site and all your help/support! I'm fairly new but I can tell you're a standup guy as you've always gotten back to me with help right away!

OMG, I've played a lot of blackjack in my life but wow... never realized how unlucky I could be!

Doubles, slits, you name it I lost them ALL the last few times I played  Undecided enjoy the 15-20BTC or so, don't think I can afford to keep this up anymore for right now!

BTW, any idea why the site has been so slow the last week or so? Maybe it's just me, but switching to Chrome sped things up a while back but the past few days it has been almost unplayable and I've had to refresh constantly?!

Thanks Andrew!

...and that's the reason I keep coming back Wink Unlike any of the other sites out there, I know I can always count on you!

Luckily for me, most of the BTC I lost I won by pure luck over at satoshidice so I'm not out too much personally. I'm just wishing I had bet more when I started playing at bitjack! There were days I had won 50 hands in a row but I was betting small, just my luck to catch a bad run at .5 - 1BTC a hand lol!

I have to agree, its a great blackjack implementation. I love the hashing system used as well.
Its been awhile since Ive played but Ive found it very similar to my few casino outings, few small wins then the house floors me Tongue

Backyard games are way more fun Wink but when you need a quickie bitjack21 is one of my favourites.

Great site! The game itself works better than I expected.
However, the minimum bet appears to be .02 BTC and is misrepresented multiple times around the website Tongue

EDIT: Aww, no 5-card charlie Sad

Something I'm wondering about -

I understand that the client seed/server seed/SHA256 hash and all that text is somehow there to prove that the game was dealt fairly, but I can't seems to figure out how those characters actually relate to the cards that are dealt. Would someone be kind enough to walk through the process? I did find a SHA256 calculator here: http://www.xorbin.com/tools/sha256-hash-calculator

I found this (https://bitjack21.com/cryptoproof) explanation on the website. Haven't done it personally, though.

Heh, maybe I should play drunk more often.  I deviated from the standard "perfect Blackjack guide" somewhat randomly and managed to recoup the losses I made the last time I played.

Thanks again dude for making this game.  It's a great way to pass the time.

Hey, just making sure you're still here.  Made a withdrawl request right around the time of my last post (almost 72 hours ago) and have not seen anything on my client or BlockExplorer for the address I requested payment to (confirmed by the email notification to be correct, so it's not like I drunkenly sent them to my deposit address by mistake).  I'm not too worried, but it has elapsed the quoted 24 hour time window almost thrice over by now.

EDIT:  Heh, well that was fast turnaround.  Funds received, thanks.

So... I had a few coins in my bitjack21 account... and they appear to have disappeared.   I noticed a notice on the website that says there was an issue "syncing" some accounts after an upgrade.

I emailed the support account yesterday, and sent andrew a PM on here today, but havn't heard anything back.

Anyone know a better way to get ahold of Andrew?

and I am going to try getting a backup of the wallet to get the coins back but there is no guarantee I will be successful

For future reference is it best practice to make backups before disasters happen, not try to get them after the fact.  It seems the Bitcoin community keeps making this mistake over and over again.  I wonder why we can't learn from each other's mistakes.

Whenever you're responsible for a wallet, make backups.  Whether it's your coins or other people's.  That's all...

Service update: the hosting provider terminated my account without notice and deleted the vps.

Why did they do it?  Huh

More importantly, how do your odds compare with those at https://bitzino.com/ ?

Are you able to compete with their quite attractive set of rules?

Any way to get the message you see when attempting to cash out changed? It says that it will be processed within 24 hours, but none of my withdrawl attempts have been processed within that timeframe.
