Another silly question:

The new wallet did the trick. Are you supposed to delete the old wallet.dat file in app\roaming and place your backup wallet.dat? If not, is there an import function in the wallet? All I am seeing right now is "Rescanning".

Since the backup wallet.dat is encrypted, can it still be imported? Is there a different process?
