Hey Chris, are you mining this Miley coin ? Iz it on MTV yet - Whats the deal ?

It's all about to start again with miley cyrus coin.

Here we go again!!!

It has a very low block reward of 6 coins per block. So it's hard to get a lot of them, if it gets famous they will be worth a TON a piece. The problem right now is that it hasn't hit the news and seems to be dead. There was a few guys keeping the blockchain running but I haven't heard anything out of them for a few weeks. Either the miley camp didn't hear about it, or they were smart and told her doing nothing would hurt the coin the most.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=186785
Here is the link to my trust settings here on forum. This trust system is very unfair. I make good on every deal Ive ever made. I had many, many deals as you can see and I never scammed anyone. All it takes is a random account to give you negative trust and youre screwed. Tomatocage has never even talked to me ever but when the random acct hit me with negative trust, Tomatocage came right behind him and marked neg trust again so obviously he was the one who did it. You can look at Tomatocage trust and see how many of his compeditors at the currency exchange thread he labeled scammers. I never scammed anyone. My trust was green over 20 before this. I hope it never happens to you because the mods cant help you.

I don't think a rename/rebrand will help, it was tried a few months back calling it "koin" hence the name of this thread! Wink

I still have my KOIN node running. It all looks pretty out of the woods and legal. No incoming received yet since the change. So let's generate some demand, a decent exchange and get cooking?

Are you sure you can accept any possible answer to this question?

That's a damned goo idea F1k, how do I set up a node? this thing is up 24/7!

Question is... which exchanges will take the koin on? Huh

There's still 5 votes on there for it!

My KOIN node runs on IP 82.157.202.78
The port for KOIN is 41338

Make the wallet you use for the KOIN network accept connection from the outside world on port 41338 and you're good to go.

I think I started my node around July 1st and I have not received any kind of complaints. I think this should help exchanges list the coin, as clearly there is no issue with KOIN.

F1K,
Good to hear. We need to still figure out what wallet to download and why there seems to be an issue connecting to the nodes. Still couldn't get it work. Do you import old wallets?

The KOIN thread should explain it all. I had no issue getting it to run. You can try to start your koin client with the -addnode command to force it to connect to me.

KOIN thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=420961.0
KOIN Github: https://github.com/Officine-KOIN/Officine-Koin

I lack the time to work on it tho. So many awesome things to do in the world of Bitcoin.

Just checked my config file (I'm still on the original wallet and it still works 100%) Your node is already on my list!  Wink Grin

Network still seems healthy enough, are there any pools left? I may throw my small rig back onto it and mine some more!
