You can use MED-Electrum wallet too. I'm using it with good results. You can find it here: Electrum Mediterraneancoin thin client. Download: Linux https://github.com/mrtexaznl/electrum-medWindows https[Suspicious link removed] Hi! How can I get my wallet.dat file work with the new electrum wallet? Can I use old wallet to open it? I have 0.8.7.3 wallet and it keeps overscanning and wont open. Please help! |

I thinked you was synced with your wallet, so my mistake. At this point you need open your old wallet ( https://github.com/mrtexaznl/mediterraneancoin) if you haven't. Put your old wallet.dat in C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\mediterraneancoin. and wait wallet opening. After that you can follow my steps. |

Just logged to btc38 today and saw that several days ago MED/BTC price jumped almost six times compared to previous average level. Cooled down a bit, still about 4 times higher than before. My investment in AntMiners U1 paid off probably hundred-fold Too bad I had to re-sync wallet after upgrade, cannot sell anything at the moment. |

Im in the same boat. Just spent over a week downloading the blockchain and now my client has been rescanning for over a day. Looking at this thread I just noticed my client is version v0.8.6.2-unk-beta, will this client still work or do I need the newest one?

Im in the same boat. Just spent over a week downloading the blockchain and now my client has been rescanning for over a day. Looking at this thread I just noticed my client is version v0.8.6.2-unk-beta, will this client still work or do I need the newest one?
You can try to move your blockindex.dat and blk0001.dat out from mediterraneancoin folder and try to open your wallet without them. Download blockchain restart from beginning. In this time, you can extract your priv key and move all on Electrum-MED. |

I tried putting a used receiving address and got:
Invalid mediterraneancoin address (code -5)
My wallet shows my balance as unconfirmed now and redownloading the blockchain.
Also are there any other markets besides btc38 that trade MED? Looks like they only trade to CNY now and its valued pretty high right now.

Hi, have you tried to us the private key that wallet shows you? Try to put that in your new Electrum-MED wallet and wait a response. BTC38 is the only exchange at the moment, I'm sad to tell you. |
