I've just had two failed login attempts on both my happyminers account and my pooljunkies account.

Everyone Beware - someone is trying to hack into our 42 pool accounts.

Make sure you use a strong password.

Thanks for the warning. I'll make sure I pay out regularly!

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I just want to add that I've only been on this scene for about a month now, with my mining rig working off and on for about 2 weeks at 1.5Mh/s - but this is far and away the best coin launch that I've seen. Congratulations on a really smooth launch.

With hindsight, the only thing that I would want to see improved would be either a shorter period of time before the 'normal' block rewards start, or maybe a scattering of 'bonus' blocks after about the first hour but before the 'normal' rewards start - just to increase the excitement in those first four hours. I'd probably prefer the bonus blocks approach, but having the 'low/minimal rewards' period is really good for setting this coin apart from all the other scam/pump'n'dump coins out there.

Anyway, as I said .. Congratulations!

YES; SET ACCOUNTS TO ANONYMOUS TOO; SO THAT PEOPLE DON'T KNOW YOUR USERNAME!

STRONG PASSWORDS AND FREQUENT PAYOUTS ARE A MUST!!! Set the auto payment to values so that TX fee is like 0,1% to 1% depending on your hashing speed. This limits the amount of coins you have at risk at all times!

I'll keep my eye on locked accounts. These are locked after 3 failed attempts!

I'm working / pushing MPOS dev to integrate 2 factor auth fast to prevent this too.

BASIC RULE: KEEP YOUR VALUABLE COINS SAFE LIKE YOUR WOULD SECURE YOUR BANK ACCOUNT

Yes someone changed my payout address this morning on HappyMiners whilst I was asleep from mining since about block 415 ish, so all my payouts were sent to another address which was annoying. I have changed my password since, but to change the payout address, you have to know the pin number as well, I have no clue how they managed to do that.

I just hope pool has not been hacked. Anyway all is good at the moment and I am trying to make sure I send often to my wallet.

Edit: Also set my username to Anonymous.

Would it be possible to add an option to the notifications to send an email on any account changes? (including, obviously, changing the email adress that the account signed up with, for which the notification should of course be sent to the adress the account signed up with, not or not only the new one =) )

not that i know of Sad I'm working with the MPOS dev though to see how fast we can have 2FA (like GA) integrated into the system. That would solve a fair share of the risk i believe.

ps: http://42.pooljunkie.nl is ashing away very nicely. hitting blocks often and people getting their dents! (yes; i've adopted the name!)

Pools are running smoothly; and absolutely no problems with the coin thus far!

It's looking to become the best launch in a LOOOONG time.

Can we do predictions on the value of the coin vs LTC and BTC already? Who dares to give a shot!

When can we expect the first block explorer? Is anyone working on that yet? With 1300+ blocks already and transactions flowing; i guess this would be worth setting up Smiley

With that price all the FortyTwo miners will vanish in 1.0E-8 seconds.
