you put the esportsmoney.conf in your C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\eSportsMoney

directory? also make sure you have the newest wallet and make sure the port is accessable not being blocked by your router or firewall

Sorry guys I'm back now. I put up an ad in the mining subforum. Would it be inappropriate to put an ad in the announcements forum or the marketplace forum?

It should be fine. We will definitely need some pools to hop on it for this coin to go anywhere!

I'm in talks with someone about making a pool. I will offer a smaller bounty for the second pool as well since I don't want one to monopolize!

http://198.53.169.220:4000/

And it looks like we've found a block already! Nice Tongue

I'm the pool operator just so you guys know.. It's my first public pool, so I'm not going to advertise it too hard just yet until I'm happy with how it's running.

If you have any issues, contact me here, via PM, or I'm also hanging out in #digipools on freenode.

Cheers, and hope the pool works well for you!

Seems to be working. Hopefully I can mine this in the long run! Let's see how well it does in the short term!

After we get a second pool up and I have a few days to mine some of them sweet eSports Monies I'll be looking into a bounty for a block explorer. Once we get that I'll be working on the future of eSportsMoney! By the way, the character on our logo is SirScoots, you can find him on Twitter @sirscoots. He's a very long time member of the competitive gaming community and is a well known personality. He is also the former Chief Operating Officer of team Evil Geniuses (hands down the most valuable North American progaming team). He agreed to be the man on the eSportsMoney!

I'm more of a DotA 2 guy, but I am a pretty big TL fan. I got to meet all the TL DotA 2 players at MLG Columbus this year.

It's not specified otherwise in the OP, so I just went with the default.

Anyone who has been solo mining know how many confirms the client is requiring for newly generated coins to be fully confirmed?

If current block is  2496, at approx a block a minute, implies minings been running for 40 hours! I thought this coin wasn't premined?Huh?
