really disappointed with the devs i have been waiting for your translate texts file about a month
Dev really needs to check in to the community more often. He can't just disappear when the community obviously expects to communicate with him more frequently.

Pfff,
Current Difficulty 7.48528327
Est. Next Difficulty 2.58832193 (Change in 116 Blocks)
Est. Avg. Time per Round (Network) 2 minutes 54 seconds
Unfortunately, something wrong with Difficulty Retarget algoritm, now it's clear...
But it is also clear how personaly make benefits from this, it's competely bad

The difficulty retarget adjusts based on the average of the blocks before the last retarget not the hash rate at the time of retarget. That's why it seems weird.

Agreed it has nothing to do with hashrate. Everything to do with the avg amount of time for that diff set. I hate to say it but PND has been out 5 days and they already added it....

Normally, when things are slow I don't particularly mind that the dev tends to focus on work and less on communication with the community (though I already posted suggesting he drop in at least once a day...which he agreed to). Now, it's completely outrageous that during this time when the community is going through a difficult (no pun intended) time, he would not post anything in either the forums or the subreddit. This is shaking my faith in the dev and the coin significantly.

But dev is responsible for communicating with the community about what is most important in terms of coin dev. In this case, it's KGW. He's probably working hard on game/shop/videos etc. which is all great, but we really need KGW before any of that and it's super easy to implement since the code is already there. All he has to do is drop in, tell us he's working on it or a block target where he plans to have it implement. The dev has to listen to the needs of the community and he can't do that if he rarely shows up.

Instead of writing about any yours "hash rate" ...

I'm just repeating what I remember reading about how the difficulty is done for this coin.

Where did you read it? One of the posts on reddit, take that for what it's worth. It's not that important since regardless of the actual logic behind the difficulty changes, it's not good against multipools and once KGW is implemented, this isn't important anymore.

. When difficulty is low change scan-time and expiry to low values (25,30 for 1-2 diff) and you'll get a huge efficiency boost.

Seems we do not need to find any reasons - now is time when gods of NYAN give us some gifts. That because previously, within ~12 hours, we mined 180 blocks at difficulty~18. Right now - 1 block/10 seconds (~24 times faster)

Right now - 1 block/10 seconds (~24 times faster) This is a terrible situation. The important thing is not whether or not miners get coins, the important thing is that the block times do not get too long, that makes transactions difficult. We can't keep swinging like this, it's unstable. KGW is vital for stability of the coin for use as a payment mechanism.
