Cryptopia are bloody legends! 2 days and they already have Noble up and running. Amazing work.

Noble went from biggest looser (3 sat low) to biggest gainer (12 sat high) on Polo within 24 hours thanks to Cryptopia picking us up.

Werent that u who sent them a sizable sum of money to facilitate listing. Im not only glad to congratulate u with addition on cryptopia but am also glad to list noble on mintpal. I and my friends from the uk are about to purchase code from moolah and open mintpal 3.0, to rival polo and bitrex cartel. Noble will be the first coin that we agreed to list.

I was thinking of paying to get Noble listed, but fortunately I didn't have to. I contacted Cryptopia, and since I am a New Zealander and Cryptopia is a NZ company they fast tracked the listing as a special favour!

This is what Lydia (DaRoll) from Cryptopia said in correspondence:
" I mentioned to one of our Devs that a request to add NOBL had come through from a Kiwi. Being a sucker for anything that can promote the use of Crypto in New Zealand, he agreed to have a look at it.
Anyway, long story short, it was put through code testing last night, and passed and has now been added."

Cryptopia have really impressed me. They are very responsive and you know you are dealing with passionate people that aren't in crypto solely to make profits. They actually seem to care, which is more than I can say for Poloniex and Bittrex etc.

Would be nice to have autosplit and Multisend functionality like the HYP wallet.  Grin

Surprised the wallet doesn't have a tally of the sent, receive or mint in transactions.  Smiley

I had to contact Cryptopia too about an issue and was also really impressed with the response and how quickly they cleared the issue up. Very pleasantly surprised. Hope they start getting more volume. I'm sure they will.

I've been hearing a lot of good things about cryptopia recently - I've also been implementing their API for my robot - and their implementation is much more solid that all the other markets I worked with so far, I'm very impressed by the resources they have available and the quality of the code that they have pushed through.

Any news?

I am going to be busy for the next 2 months on the related finance app. gearing up for release. The one I've been hinting at/discussing where allowed previously. Our ACL was finally granted after two years in January. Otherwise Noble will continue running as per usual.

Its success will determine the direction and support behind Noble from 2017 - hopefully hiring developers to focus solely for what's envisioned for the Noble app. I'll release update when I can.

One month ago, Rofo said he'll be busy for the next couple months on the finance app, so I wouldn't expect to hear much until the end of May or early June. I'm just holding my Noblecoins and waiting. Smiley

Absolutely! We've come this far, no reason to change direction now.

AFAIK you can only stake from your PC wallet.
Put your Noble into the wallet and unlock it for staking (lock symbol, second from right next to 'export' in the wallet). For best results (not compulsory), don't have more than 5 million Noble in one wallet address.
If you only have a few coins that won't be a problem, but if you have many millions, create some new addresses (in 'Receive Coins' tab) in the wallet and send coins to yourself.
It may take a day or 2 for the coins to 'mature' before they can be staked.

Exchanges don't stake coins, or so they say.  Grin

Simple explanation on staking: Using your local wallet. POS (Proof of Stake) lets your wallet do what miners do for the network on POW (Proof of Work) coins by verifying transactions inside your wallet. This keeps the network healthy and running smoothly. And, you get recurring small payments for the work your wallet is doing which increases your holdings just like POW "pools" would pay you periodically for doing the same remotely with others. The amount you get paid is proportional to how many coins you have, how long you have had them and your processing power which determines how much work your wallet does. There's more to it than that in reality but, that's the quick and dirty.

For a more "in depth" technical explanation, go here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proof-of-stake
