I think it's a signal that we can know when it's appropriate to invest from the news that appears, but sometimes the media can also deceive
my mind the author of the article is also invested in bitcoin but when the price drops he was disappointed and made a news about negative bitcoin

many media talk and talk about bitcoin badness and make the name bitcoin become negative because it is some conspiracy that happened, they want to make bitcoin prices to collapse and try to make the trader players become panic.

Media itself isn't the one whose negative about bitcoin but they're paid by those group of banks of investors to spread FUD and fake news so the price be affected though negativity around us. Panic will be the possible result of that, and the price litterally lowers down if other people will become affected to it.

Why Media is negative about Bitcoin?
Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.
Do you see that, dont you?

maybe it's because the price of the fluctuating bitcoin fluctuations, and the layman is not advised to take such high risks

I think the media is negative to bitcoins because when people hear negative news about bitcoins, the price usually declines. Maybe there are people behind the media investing in bitcoins and they want to maximize the amount they're buying. I don't know exactly but again, the media has a lot of influence.

Probably because crypto means to be a decentralization tool that is totally the opposite of what media is? Just think about it, and you will find the answer by yourself, you wont need to come here to ask that.

It's not about the posture of the media, it's about the fact that there are a number of really influential individuals in government/institutional players to continually use their influence to create FUD.

Yes I see news like that. The media are only looking for income from the negative bitcoin news so that the news becomes a lot of people's conversation. I think this is a news that incites people not to invest in bitcoin and the media feel rivaled by the popularity of bitcoin.

Yes, Media has generally played an extremely negative role regarding Bitcoin. Since its initiation, bitcoin has been under the control of media which has effected the public opinion  and given a distorted image about the real fact of bitcoin. We should keep in mind that social media have their policies that meet the needs of some people who take advantage from spreading negative news about bitcoin. However, there shouldn't be biases to one point of view. We should see the whole picture behind Bitcoin which is going to make our life bitter in the future.

They're just trying to slow down the inevitable.
As such, there are countless articles that cast negativity on Bitcoin, but fail to make any strong arguments. These articles are propaganda at best, IMO.

Media is largely funded by traditional finance, and tend to take the same opinion (you never bite the hand that feeds!). Also, given how volatile bitcoin can be, bullish sentiment can earn a reporting body scorn in bearish markets. Until Bitcoin becomes more widely adopted, the media will be reluctant to embrace it.

I think it’s pretty simple, the media are owned by the same people who own the banks so of course they're not going to publish any positive stories.

Because the media take its news source from the government,
His example media took his source from a government's ban on a bitcoin / bitcoin transaction.
or the media take its source from the fact a negative actions bitcoin users,
for example October 2015, LWK terrorist bombing Mal Alam Sutera request transferred Rp300 million in the form of bitcoin. "Suspect of extortion,",, In October 2014, an Indonesian student of DB was arrested in Bintaro for buying shabu online and paying with bitcoin

Because maybe they were paid by big companies and banks that hate bitcoin, they play a big role in making bitcoin negative in the eyes of others that do not understand what really bitcoin is. But some changes there opinion about bitcoin when some of their friends are gaining much in bitcoin.

People are more interested in news that makes them concern than those good news that's why they are reporting the things that will make people listen to their news or story. Being crypto enthusiast, we know that media is just being controlled by others who are in power so that in turn they can control the price as well but there are still so many people who do not know about cryptocurrency and the media would convince the people not to invest on it so as to suppress the price more and the ones who are accumulating bitcoin could accumulate as much as they can and then when the time comes that those who control them ordered to report something good about bitcoin then they would report good things to attract more investors so that they will be in profit or in short hype it.

I think it’s pretty simple, the media are owned by the same people who own the banks so of course they're not going to publish any positive stories.
And the other way around would happen when those people wanted the price of cryptocurrency to rise because they already bought some discreetly but then they were catched because of transparency. Remember JP Morgan last year?

Many people around us does not take positively the new comers. Our media is like that. On the other hand as the media is regulated by government and run under the regulation of government. They use the same language of the government. I think most of the case happen to the second or third world. As with the passage of time the new comer are accepted by the local people. So, BTC will be appreciated by the Media with the passage of time. So, we are not worried about media. Another things is that they make the curiosity among the people regarding the BTC through negative news. But people are now conscious enough to take right decision.

Bitcoin is doing its job well, it's a payment tool and people usually use it. No complaints from users. Bitcoin security is good because bitcoin has exploited over 17 million bits. All warnings are just warnings and I see people still looking for ways to own them.
