Any updates on this coin?
What do you propose we do next? I've been thinking about changing the logo, because when I created Grumpycoin I didn't know Grumpy Cat was a registered mark. I though it was a free meme like Dogecoin, but with all that recently happened to Coinye I don't want to risk the reputation/life of Grumpycoin. Actually I don't think we are violating any copyrights because GPC's logo is not using the 'real' image of Tardar Sauce, or any registered image of him, but changing the logo could help to avoid any misunderstanding. Furthermore I don't think they can register the images of all Grumpy Cats. We could simply use another Grumpy Cat image (not Tardar Sauce) and it should be fine. And the word "grumpy" obviously can't be registered either. I found this on http://www.uspto.gov/:  What dou you think? |

Just remove all Grumpy Cat references. Grumpycoin is not Grumpycatcoin, so no problems.

Yeah, it can still be grumpy coin but you will have to make it a more generalized image of grumpiness. Or talk to the owner of the grumpy cat trademark and see if they are willing to allow it.

if you do want to do a name change then lets come up with something proper. something that sticks. not a satire. nothing silly

Will there be any more updates for this coin like blockexplorer or are you, the developer, too busy with QQCoin or other projects? The webpage http://www.[Suspicious link removed]/ links to QQCoin Facebook, Twitter and Youtube account. We need more miners, advertising, social medias and more giveaways if we are going to reach any exchange. I am grumpy like the coin now. I'm trying to do all I can, but I've been having a busy at work. Please don't think I've abandoned Grumpycoin! I'll never do that! |

We have a great chance of getting Grumpycoin listed there. We currently have 5 votes for GPC and would need 45 more (50 votes total) and they would then be contacting the GPC Dev directly for discussion on adding GPC on their new trading platform.....
