I have been mining with 600MH/S and the last block was found three days ago. I guess difficult has been raised to new level used to at least one block per day.
I only got one block today under 5GH/s, normally I can get about 10, I am sure the difficulty has been increased significantly.

Wow. That actually make me feel better. It's a good thing that the hasting power has been increased that only mean more people are mining.

Is that true after the next halving there is no more time-lock on the rewards?

Yes. After the coming halving in about a day at block 94680, rewards will be 96 with maturity for all rewards in 100 blocks, no time locks.

I just finished reading the white paper and the project looks very promising. Will wait for more information! If you add more specific information about this project, it will be easier to make a decision. i mean, for example, what people get of invest?

If you have already read the white paper (and the vision paper), you're ahead of most on the basics. The best pocket guide that I've seen which provides a community member's perspective that speaks for a lot of us, written in an easy to read style is here: https://medium.com/@benohanlon/a-pocket-guide-to-verus-coin-f0c86e976c33

Let me know if you have specific questions, or join the discord: https://discord.gg/Dng6K7 and real time conversation with many people online just about all the time.

Agama Wallet from VerusCoin includes modified komodod (verusd), original komodod (daemon from Komodo repo) doesn't support VRSC. Also, Agama Wallet from VRSC includes needed changes to GUI for operate with VRSC coin.

zcash params are missing or incomplete:
Download sprout-proving.key and sprout-verifying.key in %APPDATA%\ZcashParams folder.

Download links for ZcashParams:

Or use fetch-params.bat from this archive http://185.25.51.16/builds/win/verus-cli-win-v0.3.11.zip to do it automatically.

You should start mining via Agama GUI (sorry, i didn't remember where this setting located bcz i don't use GUI) or via CLI:
Code:
komodo-cli -ac_name=VRSC setgenerate true <number_of_cores>
komodo-cli is a binary located at:
Code:
"C:\Program Files\AgamaApp\resources\app\assets\bin\win64\komodo-cli.exe"
For example, to start mining with 4 threads you should execute:
Code:
"C:\Program Files\AgamaApp\resources\app\assets\bin\win64\komodo-cli.exe" -ac_name=VRSC setgenerate true 4

sacskate:
Code:
"localhashps": 2485607.742574257
You have 2 MH/s now.

p.s. If it seems too low for your CPU, just wait more time. localhashps value increases gradually if you have launched mining just now. Average value you will get after some hours of mining. Mean, localhashps value can't be measured if you have only few minutes from start.

Congratulations! Your miner catched an orphane chain. Not real coins... Purge and reinstall you miner whith 0.3.11 version.
For control appropriable job see official Verus eplorer https://explorer.veruscoin.io/
Hash/difficulty must be the same at the same times.
Good luck!

Mining Info
Mining Status: Mining
Local Mega Hash/s: 8.290
Thread Count: 2
This means that you mined with 2 threads. Each CPU has a specific number of cores and threads. For example. i7-6700k has 4 cores and 8 threads. You can choose how many threads of total is participating in mining.

p.s. If you found a way how to set number of threads in GUI and mining is started, you shouldn't do anything else with command line.
