When the world government finally reveals they have been tampering with stargate technology, we can implement this currency for all tolls associated with said interstellar travel.  Cool Long term vision.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Sooooooooooooo many rejected shares in this currency. What is problem? And dont tell me it is mine problem, cause other currencies worked fine with my workers. Smiley. Is it possible that this is doin bad pool or could it be cause this currency built?

i have no problem with solo mining, and i only got 1 gpu

In pool i have soooo many rejected shares and when i solo mine aliencoin there is so many rejected too and certainly i am not able find many blocks i shlould be with my hashrate.. It sucks... I calculated i should find many blocks per hour, but i am about 1-2 blocks per hour... Its wierd... If i mine other currencies, i have no problems.

Try a pool. One of the best ways to select a pool is to compare the % luck of each pool. You can see this by visiting the "blocks" page (at least for an MPOS pool). There you will see the average number of shares (as a percentage) it takes for that pool to hit a block. So if a pool reports 110%, this means that if the network expects a block to be found in 100 shares (at current network difficulty), then the pool would typically find it after submitting 110 shares. Next consider the pool's fees, perks, and reliability. The pool's hash rate doesn't necessarily mean you will make more coin, it only means that it will be more consistent. Smaller pools with a good % luck value reward just as many coins over the long run. Blocks take longer to find, but with a smaller pool, more coins are rewarded per block.

Comparison of other pools...
http://alien.icalcul8.com/ is averaging 109% [1% fee + 1ALN blockfinder bonus]
http://aln.luckyminers.com/ is averaging 156% [1% fee]
http://aln.scryptcraft.com/ is averaging 106%  [1% fee]
http://aln.poolerino.com/ is averaging 129%  [0% fee]

I tried pool buddy, luckyminers. But thats what i am talkin about. So many rejected shares in mining of this currency.

Hey Guys.

I can confirm the following regarding FreshMarket Exchange http://freshmarket.co.in/

I sent a test amount of Aliencoin and it showed up as Deposit Pending almost instantly
The test amount was Available after 10 confirms approx 5 minutes
Aliencoin trades against LTC (there is no BTC markets) I can live with that
I placed a sell order at the highest possible buy order that I saw and it went though instantly
Because this was the first sale of Aliencoin the current price has now been set at 0.00001300 LTC
I then executed a withdrawal *Note, Withdrawals are subject to manual approval and maybe delayed this is clearly stated on the withdrawal page.
My LTC arrived into my wallet in approx 12 minutes from the time I made the withdrawal.

Also Note* There is a minimum withdrawal of 0.01 LTC

Trade fee is 0.1%
Withdrawal fee is 0.02%

Two points to raise
1/ There is no Graph/Ticker - I can live with that
2/ Two Factor Authentication - It states on the website that it is coming soon

In Conclusion
The site looks clean and very user friendly compared to the big exchanges and the trades are perfectly executed and deposits/withdrawals are fast

I give this Exchange my sign of approval: 9/10

If you are going to trade aliencoin on freshmarket may I suggest not putting in silly sell orders in the hope of pumping and dumping Aliencoin, it won't work. The coin is only new, we want the coin to grow steadily in value and not like the other shitcoins out there. I have started selling small amounts just above the current price and also some I have sold at the ask. learn how the markets truly work, don't just try and sell the coin at a price people will laugh at right now, The coin price isn't going to jump straight to 0.1 LTC because you have placed a sell order at that price. slow and steady wins the race.
apart from that it's good we finally have an exchange to play in. Good luck to everyone.
What's happening with promotion and development Dev's? not seen that much, there are coins that are 5 minutes old and are trending..!!!

Prices are ridiculous on this exchange : 0.000016 litoshi per ALN
There's not even 1544000 ALN in total that were mined. This gives us a market cap of 24.7 LTC, or 0.67 BTC ... ROFL

Yeah I transferred my ALN to the exchange, saw the prices and promptly withdrew back to my wallet.

No way I'm selling my 10k ALN for a mere 0.16 LTC, and anyone selling at this price is crazy.

We have good support for cryptsy but do we need to be pushing for coinedup to add aliencoin on their exchange? What do we think?
