Bit of a vague question, the way things are looking right now it's hard to expect more than 5x from Ripple, so 200k will get you there possibly.
If BTC goes over 30k I think XRP can hit $5.

Have to remember this coin may appear cheap at a cost per coin price, but it's market cap is huge and no coin has the ability to surpass the BTC market cap in my eyes.

You could look at it this way:

XRP current cap is $27 billion
BTC is $144 billion

Difference of roughly 5.3x

Last year at both their peaks:
BTC = 300 billion
XRP = $128 billion

Difference of about 2.3x

So let's say if XRP can get back to 2.5x difference to BTC it'll look roughly like this

BTC at $10k = $170 billion cap
Leaving XRP at $68 billion cap with a price of $1.73 per coin
2.5x from current price

BTC at $20k = $340 billion cap
Leaving XRP at $136 billion cap and $3.46 per coin
5x from current price

BTC at $30k = $510 billion cap
Leaving XRP at $204 billion cap and $5.19 per coin
7.5x from current price

That's a rough way to look at it and assumes XRP can have a big run again, 10x+ is very optimistic in my eyes, 5x probably more likely.

Who knows what could happen though, many are predicting higher than $30k for BTC this year, I'm on the fence, the FOMO last year was absolutely crazy and this year it's just not the same, the desire to buy it has dropped a lot and we're nearly at mid year, it's going to be a lot harder to go from $10k to $20k compared to $1k to $2k.

For me, XRP is not a great coin to invest in based on the current market, but not the worst either at it's current price.
If you want to make big money this year without investing a ton, you'll need to take a bit more risk and get multiple wins I think.

Just my 2c, I know many others will disagree and are still very optimistic for 20x+ for the top 5-10 coins.

The hype period of ripple has already ended, I know some platforms which has been developer a better platform with better scalability compared with ripple. The new platforms are using more than a few thousands TPS. It's already enough to give a really strict competition to the ripple.

any altcoin that can be pumped can also make you a millionaire but also at the same time any altcoin that can be pumped will also be dumped and will make you broke if you stick around in it for too long.

if you look at the market (coinmarketcap.com for instance) you can see the pumps are all around us and each of them can contribute to your millionaire goal if you are good at trading in this chaotic market.

They have possibility that you become millionaire in ripple , but you need thousands of ripple because for me the possible price of this coin in this year 2018 probably between 50-100 dollars each. But better if takes few more years because we need more time to reach the goal price. But invest only the extra money because you don't know what is happen.

IMO every cryptocurrency can make you become a millionaire as long as you can find out good time to invest in . Of course XRP can make you rich if you can catch the best time when XRP dumped to the lowest price to join. But it's not easy cause you're not the only trader )

Absolutely no.
The hype is over and the usecase of Ripple is limited in my opinion.
I would suggest invest the money in other useful coins.

Definetely it can, if you have $500.000 or more it can really make you a millionaire in 2018  but if you invest $1000 in ripple, for sure you are not going to be millionaire in the near future.

How? I think ripple cannot make one a millionaire in the future but it is not that bad of a coin to invest into. In fact, it is still profitable to invest in it, but I doubt if it will do a mega pump to the moon in the future wherein it will reach prices above 4$+ giving way for a new batch of millionaires. Nevertheless, it is not bad to hold it now, and hope for it to go to the moon(because there is still a chance of it happening but it is low).

With the current price of ripple, I think if you invest $500 or more and the price experience a rapid growth, you should be a millionaire by the end of 2018 but if not, I don't think there is chance of becoming one this year though ripple is also a profitable coin to invest in but with the recent situation of the market, maybe in 2019, you can become a millionaire with you investment in ripple.

Doubt that btc will get anothet bullrun this year .

It's the 2nd quarter of the year so saying that there will be no bull run isn't new. We've been tired of waiting for almost 5 consecutive months for this year and still we get nothing. It may not move back and stay on the ceiling but Ripple is also depending to bitcoin. I doubt Ripple but I'm more bullish and optimistic with bitcoin. A coiner would certainly they are tired of Ripple after the dumped so your conclusion about bitcoin is contradicting with what you believe in Ripple.

there are two possibilities if you invest a lot of your money on Ripple this year "Ripple can make you a millionaire or Ripple can make you bankrupt", personally I'm not interested to invest in a centralized currency that has 100 billion of maximum supply because there are still many coins that have innovative projects
