That's not live anymore. Sad

Any updates? Or should I give up on trying to get us on an exchange?

I stepped away from KDC a while ago.  I was all about working on it, but there was no use or community.  I honestly think at this point, there isn't a reason to push this any further unless someone has some crazy adoption plan in the works that they haven't told the community about.  There was just no community input or backing at the time.  People just seemed like they wanted it to be developed further to either pump or dump, or both.

KDC was great when it was in it's hay day, but I think we're looking at the twilight years now.

No, the node was not live anymore.

I'm sure there are people still mining and collecting KDC.  It's alive, but only for the sake of keeping it alive right now.

the nodes i posted are live right now, otherwise who is my wallet currently syncing blocks from? Cheesy

its also gives BTER no excuse to not process KDC withdrawals.  the network is working so they should sync up and allow users to withdraw from there

The nodes you listed are probably live, I'm not arguing that.  The criptoe.com node is not live though.  That was mine, and it hasn't been live for like 8+ months now.  That's all I was saying.

So is there any interest in getting KDC listed on Cryptopia? I'm willing to contribute, but want to make sure there are a few more of us interested in keeping this coin alive.

Got all my 66k coins jacked on bter, otherwise I'd help get it listed on Alcurex once the new v2 exchange site went up.

Edit: apparently they are finally showing up on my account, does bter actually send them out tho?

I still have a few coins, but not much. They are worth nothing at this point. Since Fuse seems like he is done with this, I don't see much possibility of any future development.
Although there are plenty of coins out there that don't have anything special going for them. Some of them are popular just because... Just look at 90% of the alt-coins that have decent market caps.
I think marketing, and acceptance are all that is important.

I'd still like to see KDC survive, even if it is just a plain Scrypt coin with no special features. But I think we need more people to give their opinion. As I said, I'm willing to contribute, but only if we can build some sort of a team effort. Certainly KDC would have more support than most of the coins listed on Cryptopia's current voting page.

I added a few more votes to get us back into 3rd place. If someone else wants to contribute I will continue to match votes. Maybe if we show more interest, we can get Fuse to get involved again?

who is Fuse?

He is/was the most recent developer for KDC.

I never released any of the work I did for KDC.  I had updated the client to a new codebase, and I had written out development plan.  However, when I polled the community about who was going to get involved and help decide on changes and work on promotion and adoption, it went pretty quiet.  There was like 3 of us total, myself included.  At that point, there wasn't really a big demand, so I left it.  The chain was moving and that's all that really mattered at the time.

We could write code for days getting this thing updated, but we'd still just have another coin with no real use.  If there was a push to use this for more than trading, I might be willing to rethink involvement with KDC.

Just as a plain vanilla Scrypt coin KDC more than held it's own. I see I am not the only one voting on Cryptopia. It would be cool to see KDC evolve into something bigger, but I agree only if we have support from a larger base. It sure seems possible for those of us that followed this forum back in the day. The number of comments leads you to believe this is a much bigger coin.

I'm not going to get my hopes too high, but I'm willing to contribute more if we gain some momentum. Not sure where we will end this voting session... KDC is currently #1 on paid voting.
