Added cryptoe.com as a node, deleted all previous blockchain data and restarted the wallet but still says I have 0 connections

Delete everything in the config folder, except the wallet.dat file, and then restart the wallet. If it hangs on downloading the chain, which it will a few times because of the forks that occurred, stop the program and restart it. Eventually it should catch up. -Fuse |

Same problem, added all those nodes, deleted old files aside from .conf and wallet and 0 connections 27 weeks behind

If it hangs on downloading the chain, which it will a few times because of the forks that occurred, stop the program and restart it. Eventually it should catch up. -Fuse I'll try again when I'm back on that particular PC, but Fuse, just so you know, this was installed on a clean PC - KDC wallet had never touched this computer before, and I used the KDC wallet you linked to a few posts back, along with all the conf updates suggested. Came back in 30 min , and it had 3 active connections. Stock wallet. no conf file. |

I'm stuck at 255247. EDIT:After leaving it for a few hours I came back and was all synced up. It's not your local sync which is stalling, it's the entire network, due to difficulty adjustment going too high. Look at the differences in time between these two sets of blocks, and the rapid drop in difficulty once someone actually finds a block: 25-Jul-2014 20:02:37 height: 254768 difficulty: 1.42121357 tx: 1
28-Jul-2014 06:31:48 height: 254769 difficulty: 28.32897965 tx: 31
