I guess ICoin miners like to suffer and loose coins... http://ic.mepool.cc/ has 84MH/s in 110MH/s of the Network. I know everybody likes payouts but being greedy like this is just stupid... think about adding hashes on http://icoin.pooljunkie.nl I was mining there Switched coin now...

anyone buying this coin
Hi Acckiller, One user called Gravity was scammed recently purchasing iCoins for BTC, so people are hesitant to buy at this stage. Just be careful when buying or selling. Our focus right now is providing more services and getting iCoins name out there before hitting the exchanges. We will launch on a Chinese exchange first, then either coinedUP or Cryptsy. I think it's important to note that there are plenty of scammers out there, regardless of the coin we're talking about. Here's a few safety suggestions to anyone who wishes to trade without an open exchange yet. 1. Check to see if your buyer/seller has a reputation thread. A reputation thread is commented on by other people who have successfully completed a transaction with this user in the past. 2. Even in the instance that your buyer/seller has a reputation thread, always start out trading small amounts. For instance, if you're trading 1,000 ICN, I would personally make the first couple transfers 100 ICN. Send each other back n' forth messages upon the confirmation taking place. This is more tedious, but at least you know if you're dealing with a scammer, you won't get completely screwed. Hope this helps! - Ridg

Welcome DeppJ joinning our iCoin team. He is the dev behind the Paycoin that sucessfully added to many exchanges. He put his project onhold to join us as he believes iCoin has lot of potential in future.
So DeppJ will working on Eastern Exchange as well as be iCoin developer while Viperbass working on Chinese Exchange.
Our team breakdown:
CaptainHook: founder and developer Viperbass: PR executive Cointopic: Designer DeppJ: PR executive and developer
We hope iCoin will be added to both Eastern and Chinese Exchanges at the same time.
We also believe with our strong team: great PR by Viperbass, excellent design by Cointopic and experienced DeppJ - iCoin will be widely accepted!
Current iCoin statistic: 11135 blocks mined so far, 4.77 difficulty, 130MH nethash.
ps: If you have experience in any processes of making a coin widely accepted and wanna join us, feel free to drop me a message.
Best, C.H.

I Would just like to add, we got good momentum now behind iCoin and a lot of real investors looking at buying into the coin once it hits the exchanges especially in the East.
We hope to build more of a backing with the Western Community in time.
If we wanted to make a quick buck we would of come up with a name like kardashianCoin, Biebercoin etc etc. While those names are popular now they won't be forever. Where iCoin will be relevant well into the future aslong as the internet platform exists which is why we building up true backing as opposed to extreme hype.

I was scammed recently, so unless the person is willing to send the coins to me first or it's on the exchange I refuse to buy. @Lord a 7950 or 9280x are decent for power they use.

If you had £180 what GPU would you buy to mine Icoin??
I would go with a R9 270. Uses less power than a 270x and gets pretty much the same has rate. I've got 2 running and get about 440khs each.

Hi When checking the icoin-qt.exe at 'virus total', the analysis passes all but one of the virus checks. That one reports - Bkav HW32.Laneul.xaga And also in the 'additional information' tab, it says - F-Secure Deepguard Suspicious:W32/Malware!Geminiand - Symantec reputation Suspicious.InsightI tested both icoin-qt files, available here on the first page Mirror 1: https://mega.co.nz/#!dpFWwQTT!AD6CwjMxvwV-47NAWKZwjQzn93svhhOhKZXVEALwBQU Mirror 2: http://www.icoin.pw/wallet/icoin1.3.zipI am relatively new to all this, so would appreciate someone else more knowledgeable checking this for me, and hopefully reassuring me that the result is just a false positive. Many thanks

If you don't trust the pre-compiled binaries, check out the source code, make sure it's clean and compile it yourself
