Halinyo,
You have 100M? Wow, you are a star and will be well rewarded.

YC

I hope so ('cause then I'll be a mini-star). Cheesy

But did you see that boatload of people already using their own particular "version" of DigiPay?

Things are moving at light speed and I hope we're not left behind.

I had the time today to do some reflecting on DGB's long term strategic plan, and it seems to me that it's all going to turn on DigiPay LLC. That is to say that it will be DigiPay that will make or break DigiByte.

And then it occurred to me to google DigiPay:

http://www.townofcary.org/Departments/townmanagersoffice/pio/News_Releases/2014newsreleases/nr_digipay.htm

http://www.digipay.com.ng/

https://www.digipay.ch/

http://digi-pay.com/?reqp=1&reqr=nzcdYaEvLaE5pv5lMt==

https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=DigiPay

http://www.digipaysolutions.com/solutions/payment-gateway

http://www.digipayvoucher.com/

Based on those top 7 search results my main question would be: Does DigiByte have a trademark for DigiPay?

Oh, how I anxiously await Jared's video on where DigiByte is headed and the road map for getting there.

is it possible to download the blockchain offline ( it would be faster then syncing it) like the first 400k block and then just sync it up

I was aware of the possible TM pitfalls with Digipay prior. This will be something that must be addressed or maybe it already has. Let's await some feedback from Jared before drawing any conclusions.

I don't like what I'm seeing out there. First we get a paycoin scam from GAWMiners where they pre-mined 12 million of the 12.5 total projected and are now selling to whoever is dumb enough to buy (at $14 the last I checked).

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=895061.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=900970.0

Now there's even a Ripple market on Cryptsy! Another massively pre-mined "payment system" described by one poster as being "fuel that powers a network, a seemingly useless, centralized, closed source, network that no one actually uses..." in the Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion thread:

Not only do we owe it to ourselves, but we also owe it to everybody else: we must educate the world about what is open source, and what is secure, and what is decentralized, and what is a real life, functioning network. This means debunking the scams, and that means possibly ruffling some feathers, but we have a duty to our fellow humans, don't we? Do we care that unsuspecting victims are being taken. Do we care that our product provides the real thing and is being overlooked? Maybe, maybe not, but one thing's for sure, those behind the business - if only for the business' sake, if only to do the marketing expected of someone who wants to establish their business, if only to become profitable - need to promote the benefits of their product as soon, and as early on, as possible, else they end up failing and saying to themselves "if only we had tried harder to create demand and set ourselves apart when we still had the chance".

DigiByte needs to get aggressive, and fast!

This will do the thing! and I disagree on XRP. It is a great payment method and awesome developers and backed up with a great team!
XPY from the beginning is a way to steal money.

I personally look forward to seeing the USD/DGB exchange Smiley really cannot wait!!!

And the day a CNY/DGB exchange gets drawn up!!

DigiByte / DGB along with "USD, CNY, EUR" fiat and a few other preferred coins; BTC, LTC, PPC, NXT, DOGE, XRP, NMC, XMR, XPM.
These market pairs will encourage those coin holders to move into DGB easily whenever they want to.

Therefore, this type exchange will boost "DGB liquidity" all around very easily.

I also suggest that DGB should be added to some of those highly rated Chinese exchanges. It is always better to be "widely spread-ed", where the price cannot change very quickly due to high distribution rate.

The crazy thing is the insiders own like 90% of Ripple and yet the price has continued to move up. Think about this for a second. Ripple creates more shares out of thin air and assigns them to their "banking partners" for virtually nothing. Now the outside public believes real life credibility and use is occurring and they start investing. The "banking partners" are now looking at a goldmine in their hands. Ingenious if you ask me. Bad for the folks investing. Ultimately, I think DGB needs to use some of the marketing techniques and relationship to its advantage.

I would not touch Ripple with a ten foot pole. No control and the insiders can dump anytime they choose and the rest are left holding the bag. Why take a chance?

Yes but Ripple can only be earned with computer power on Community World Grid program or purchased.

Totally different from the rest of the coins.
