the real life mining numbers dont lie
if you got sha hash power - mine BTC and buy DGB
appreciate anyone who may prove me wrong
do the test...........
Cheers usukan
Why try to prove you wrong? It's not about being right or wrong. Your logic assumes that people immediately sell the coins they mine (or trade them). Mining calculators, and even current mining stats, are instantaneous measures. They can't predict the future. Everyone will make their own decisions about the right choices for their mining. There can be multiple right answers. I believe in the long-term value of DGB. That's reason enough for me to mine it.

yeah me too but................ so why is everyone not mining at the "official pool" digihash? Tried it and price needs to x10 approx before its worthwhile? Why anybody mine DGB? - just mine BTC an buy DGB? Please correct my mistakes? a question,is the officer pool digihash.co fee not 3%? i check the blockchain, the fee is 4%.
Some people mine just to support the network, but last I checked, DGB-Qubit is profitable for me. I don't sell any of the DGB I mine. I mine script so, technically, I suppose DGB would be profitable if I decided to sell coins to pay the electrical expense. But, why would I sell at today's exchange rates to cover electrical costs? Expenses are tax deductible. I believe the price of DGB will continue to go up. I've used my equipment to heat my house this winter (literally haven't turned on my furnace this year). So, I'm taking a deduction on what would be heating expenses and keeping the coins for the long-term. I don't mine SHA so I've never looked into the profitability. Everyone's circumstance is different. I occasionally sell enough to cover power, depends on how much I need to or not. My 290X card runs stone cold - doesn't even touch 60C - and measured with a power meter (a while ago, it melted later, so I need a new one) it used around 100W, not counting the system power use. So, plug in 13.3MH/s into WhatToMine with a power cost of $0.11 USD and power use of 100W, and you get a positive result. My other cards are slightly more energy efficient, I believe, when I last looked. Obviously, I don't use GPU mining to heat my house ... but, GPUs serve multiple purposes, so they have multiple use values. My equipment doesn't serve any purpose except to make heat, noise, and DGB. 2 of the 3 are good right now. Only DGB is good year 'round.

I didn't realize DigiByte had an iOS wallet. Looks like it's been out a month now. Very cool. May end up doing some lessons on it at some point.
I really like the IOS wallet. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to get it up and running, but it's a nice little app. A great second wallet.

Try multipling your TOTAL cost for electricity and see what you get. I used 1000 kilowatt last month so 1000 x $0.18 = my electricity bill. It surprised me.

no Hi this is my first post, i've been watchin this forum for a while and started trading alts, mainly digibyte. I have a question i cant find an answer anywhere just hope someone can clear it up. Is the price of an altcoin affected by the price of bitcoin? Or is it like pegged to bitcoin?
yes What do you mean no? If BTC price doubles in $ then DGB price doubles in $. If BTC price half's then so does DGB price.

I like DGB (and will keep buying from sha mining proceeds) - but too much fluffy lovey dovey bullshit positive posts here - time to make it a serious coin and get to the real business
Ow yes this makes it way more real business. That fluffy lovey dovey bullshit positive posts here have respect to others and brought allot of others inhere aswell. Dont need to come in here and say BS things like that. You dont have to mine SHA,ITS A OPTION. A option that not allot of other coins have.

If DGB price in BTC was anywhere near where it should be, my SHA miners would be switched on mining it. If BTC price was anywhere near where it should be, my miners would be switched on mining that and I'd use the proceeds to buy DGB. In the mean time I buy BTC with $, because I can't currently buy DGB with $, and convert them to DGB. Simple really!

They are doing great stuff over at NLG. I think DigiByte and Guldencoin are pretty much the same if it comes to quality of services. They're both working so damn hard to succeed in their mission.

Thanks for testing! So we van say TBF works good Note that if you are NOT using a diff multiplier of 1, then your miner will think that some shares aren't good, and will discard them. This is probably the issue, and you'll get paid for only half your hashrate. Wolf0 thx but what diff command do I use for ccminer 750ti ? Im mining there now and it shows exactly 1/2 my hash rate. Is it --diff1 or -d 1 or ? Not a clue. SGMiner has --difficulty-multiplier for that option. Its the blocks factory pool is the problem. Its an AMD pool. This is really unfair - the ccminer devs remove a necessary feature, and the pool is the bad guy? It's theblocksfactory only...not setup for ccminer ..I had the same problem 6 months ago with that pool. He still didn't fix it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5Yl-mCydpM try this, It's working for me with cc miner

Do one thing please..mine DGB with ccminer with Qubit algo please..you will only be mining at half your hash rate..try it. The pool settings for that are wrong. It only accepts 1/2 your shares. It's the most profitable of all algos with ccminer. thx
