It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

6 hour block on http://dgb.get-by.com finally finished. Anyone on this forum has no right to rage or be mad unless they where mining during that entire block. FML.

Keep messaging the exchanges!

Let's get DigiByte on CoinedUp: http://www.reddit.com/r/CoinedUp/comments/1v93k1/please_add_digibyte_dgb/
Let's get DigiByte on Cryptsy: https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/72581

Does anyone know what the best way would be to start messaging Bter?

Possibly if we all email support@bter.com they would add it.
Great idea! We should all start doing that!

Email sent! Hoping more of us will do the same. The MemoryCoin 2.0 community were able to get their coin listed on Bter.com by emailing support.

DGB is only 11 days young but already have 13 merchants accepting it?! That's unheard of! Go DGB. Wink

The DigiByte dev team will draw first prize, and i'm putting in a lot of time and effort into this, in part to drum up some interest for the coin to potential new users.

Why on earth would they do that, first of all - they have like 52 million so they have plenty, secondly - they have given out many millions in giveaways so they are not going to cheat you for a few 100,000

If anyone has a great idea on to what the best way to do the lottery is please let us know. We ourselves were thinking of a fair & transparent way to do this.

We could do a large developer led live lottery. We could accept a few different coins and then you could do a live video stream draw on the web.

Was thinking

100 tickets

0.01btc
7500 dgb.

95% - prizes

50% winner
35% runner up 1
10% runner up 2

Would be happy to coordinate...
