In other words: how realistic would $1 be dec. 2018?

Almost everything is possible in the crypto world but for what you ask means that DGB must make x40, and in today's market I consider it very unlikely, but everything could change in a month and we can find ourselves with Bitcoin around $ 10,000 and then in addition, and a new bull run of the other coin.

Having said this, I believe that DGB will see $ 1 in 2020-21

Interesting opinion, I just want to buy this coin.
Tell me, where is it better to keep it? do I need to install a wallet?

Big companies are predicting price of BTC could hit $50k by the end of the current year maybe this is the reason why people are expecting we will see big rise in this project too. Even it looking hard to see this level but everything is possible.

Would be great to hit again 10K USD this year. Big companies, especially from banking industry are very well known for their disastrous prediction, financial crisis from 2008 is the best example. And supposing that this is true, they would never disclose such info.

If coin is discovered to be worth 1$, it means that the capitalization of DGB should be 10 billion.

I think $1 DGB is possible by Dec.  Jared Tate is doing loads of interviews, he's everywhere on youtube. There are some major projects and announcements that will be rolling out soon, just listen to some of Jareds interviews. Plus the Digibyte wallet app is in test flight on IOS so that will be out soon.

If you search 'Digitbyte' in youtube the theme is along the lines of 'sleeping giant', 'blockchain of the future' and talk of millionaires. I'm not saying these videos are accurate or relevant but I've been a holder for over a year and I haven't seen this kind of tone before. DGB used to get a lot of negative coverage but now there seems to be a swelling of excitement. And when people get excited about a coin they buy lots of it and the price goes up.

With the ETF and Lightning network coming maybe bitcoin will get $50K, so maybe a $1 DGB :-)

Such levels are quite possible on the good news, I also remember the statements of John McAfee on the cost of bitcoin. Well, let's see what happens.

There is a good probability we’ll see a huge bitcoin/crypto run in Q4 so select alts could skyrocket. 

That said, I think some new winners will be in the top 20, some very unexpected coins which few ever paid attention to.  That should be fun.

This coin is very good. I keep it in my portfolio in a huge amount, but I am concerned that it falls in price against the background of growing bitcoin.

That is very realistic analysis about the rebounding of cryptomarkets in fourth quarter of this year. I also fully agree on that seeing the new players entry in this space is going to open door for fresh capital. There will be some kind of fomo among institutions to be first just like last year at time of future contracts happened. It is being expected to see full recovery of altcoins at least of that level of last all time highs.
