I look at DigiByte and I see the most undervalued project in the crypto currency space.

But.. Circulating supply growing fast.. Miner sell for cover the cost.. Produced 1month 1m dgb without demand.. Gud luck..
Now, let us think about this and make a couple of quick comparisons.  DigiByte is approaching the half way distribution point this year, with just over 10 Billion coins already in circulation. DigiByte is capped at 21 Billion coins and all the remaining coins will take around another 16 years to mine, after which the mining reward is reduced to nothing other than transaction fees.

Now let’s look at a couple of other coins with more than DigiByte, already in circulation.

Doge, has over 114 Billion coins already in circulation. 10,000 new Doge produced nearly every new minute that passes …forever!  Yet somehow still commanding a very respectable price at market in my opinion, considering.

Verge, has nearly 15 Billion coins already in circulation. They are supposed to stop at 16.5 Billion… I don’t know but I see more trouble brewing here, again in my opinion. Currently still knocking out over 1500 coins every 30 seconds, very close to current DigiByte rewards.  I would not be surprised in the least, if Verge eventually ended up supplying more coins than DigiByte in total, because I’m having trouble believing  16.5 Billion whilst maintaining any kind of mining security and that’s before any regulation difficulties there might also be on the horizon for them.

That said, with respect to the crypto landscape, I wouldn’t say either of those coins was overpriced!

But…
I think DigiByte is STILL very much the crypto-opportunity of a life time by comparison!
Maybe, the only thing holding DigiByte back is that the community cannot decide how big its balls should be!...........much bigger, I think….but patiently been watching them grow.  Smiley Don't worry about the supply!

Thanks for the overview, very helpful. I think how much a coin is used will come to determine the price a lot more than the supply, and for that reason Digibyte has a very good future ahead of it. Clif high got me onto this coin a year ago, I'm glad he did.

I can't believe Digibyte is over 1 cent when there is no marketing at all and the project is dead. Not sustainable growth. Very risky investment indeed.

How do I get a profile picture here?

Please take your anti-DGB troll account and FUD elsewhere. Just look at this newbie accounts previous post history. DigiByte is very much alive and thriving.

A big thank you to everyone here who is working daily to support DGB!

As always the majority of community interaction and discussion now happens on Telegram.  You can find more links here: https://www.digibyte.io/digibyte-community

Notice I only mentioned the good coins…..didn’t say anything about Ripple 39 Billion or Stellar 18.5 Billion, centralised blockychains!  Nothing to do with actual freedom for people, just their money gets freed!

DigiByte isn’t just another ‘shitcoin’. It’s what Bitcoin would be, if fear of losing money didn’t get in the way of its development.
DigiByte pushes the boundaries of this technology, basically because anything less is a disservice to the entire human race!
Without DigiByte, people may have been fooled into thinking Bitcoin failed because it wasn’t scalable, well It is and we prove it is.
DigiByte does not discriminate, all humans are equal.

$0,034822 USD (6,17%)
0,00000422 BTC (3,68%)

Am i the only one remembering DGB at 0.07 ?

Gotta have been drunk or something. I have rebagged approx 1500 DGB for my self at the moment.

And laundered 2 bitcoins on it when it was spiking the most. Outcome. A little loss.

Which reminds me. Tron is at 0,00000609 BTC. Reinventing the deep dish.

The chart is starting to look bullish again, but I don't think it has to do with anything special in regards to DGB.....a bunch of alts are following this trend.

Trend could continue but hard to imagine .07 holding unless bitcoin goes back to 15k  Cheesy

either way im bag holding with you man. Cool

Hi guys, I'm trying to become a digibyte "full node".
my notebook where I'm launching the "digibyte core wallet" uses as the operating system Lubuntu. is since yesterday that I'm trying to download all the blockchains, but I do not know why sometimes the program closes by just killing the process and retouching to launch it manually and it still takes us longer.
In the terminal where I throw ./digibyte-qt, when it closes, this comes out:
"terminate called without an active exception"
"Canceled (core dump created)"

some remedy Huh

however I am following this guide:

One thing, but what benefits are there for being a full node Huh is there any reward for this Huh can it be a valid alternative to mining Huh

Thank you all...

A DigiByte full node is nothing more than a synchronised wallet connected to the DigiByte network via the internet.  There is no reward for running one but doing so does contribute to the DigiByte network and is actively encouraged throughout the community. First installations and synchronisation of the blockchain can take a considerable amount of time to complete as the DGB blockchain is quite large, the spec of the machine you are running it on will also greatly impact this process.  As I said earlier, all community members are encouraged to run a full node if they can and this is a good place to interrogate the network, wallet functions and a safe place to keep your DigiByte but you will be paid nothing for doing it.
