The entire crypto world is red across the board since the beginning of last week. No idea why people still waste their time coming to troll this thread...too much free time in their lives. Buy cryptocurrency, don't get instantly rich= troll. Strange.

Unfortunately, I think a lot of crypto traders get their info from 4chan. This put them in a couple of different categories:

1. Trading with mommy and daddy's money and don't know how to research.

2. Impatient people who are trading with money they can't afford to lose and getting angry when what they buy doesn't go up 5x in 24hrs.

Either way, there are a lot more of those people than those who actually read a invest off of data.

totall crap coin DGB...why did this go from 20 sats to 2500 sats in the first place? just becauseof segwit? this coin is pumped by own devs and deserves to be delsited from polo this is sick
unfortunately, you are talking nonsense, count how many developers need the money, he pump, 10 000 000$, not less, or rather much more. And look at the developers, not like millionaires Smiley
if dev has much money to pump (more than $10.000.000)

high volume with total more than 200.000 btc (24may-14july) with price that time is $2.300-$2.500
if half is buying with bitcoin price $2.300 it mean need $230.000.000 to pump the price
if Quarter is buying (pump) with btc price at that time $2.300 it mean need money $115.000.000 to pump

okay we change more little amount
if dev have One-tenth volume to pump the price (24may-14july) with price bitcoin $2.300 = $46.000.000
waaaw that is much money, jared doesnt need to build digibyte he must buy island hahahaha

okay we give small amount volume twentieth from 200.000 bitcoin with price bitcoin $2.300 = $23.000.000 need to pump

OMG i dont know if jared soo rich like that, jared doesnt need investor and attended at many event to sell product just for build blockchain system  Huh Huh
but i knew many people have money but didn't know how to use the brain Shocked

totall crap coin DGB...why did this go from 20 sats to 2500 sats in the first place? just becauseof segwit? this coin is pumped by own devs and deserves to be delsited from polo this is sick

Unfortunately, we have zero ability to control the price, nor the millions of dollars required to pull off such a feat. DigiByte is open source and decentralized.  We as developers have a very small amount of total DGB.  All of which we acquired through mining or purchased on the market over the years.

This drop has hurt us as well.  All we can do is to continue to do what we have been doing the past three years and continue working. It takes time to bring new resources and people on board and to train them and get new things completed.  Which is exactly what we have been doing the past few weeks. We are not going to release news without anything to back it up, simply for the sake of "pumping."

We will not answer any price or speculation questions so please do not PM us asking about it. Also, anyone accusing us of being "scammers" will be promptly ignored & blocked. If you don't have the ability to do your own research you should not be in crypto.

As stated many, many times we are not in this for a pump and dump.  Unfortunately, there are groups out there who move from coin to coin pumping and dumping.  The entire crypto industry and every major coin is in the red over the past couple weeks. Much of this is now due to the uncertainty of a coming Bitcoin fork.

On August  1st,  and through August if Bitcoin splits this could be a very turbulent time for all blockchains. This also highlights why DigiByte is in a much more stable long-term position than Bitcoin.

DigiByte is currently the fastest, most secure, most decentralized UTXO blockchain in the world today. This is due to the past three years of consistent committed development.

If you notice trading patterns for DigiByte differ significantly from other cryptos, a lot of this has to do with how widely distributed DGB is. Because there are no "central" bag holders like there are in many other cryptocurrencies our market cap is not artificially inflated. This also means we are susceptible to wild swings as mass trading psychology takes over. Often times you will see DigiBytes daily trading volume higher than its market cap.

We have several exciting things coming up in the next couple months, including a fresh new look for DigiByte!  So stay tuned and thank you all for your continued support!

If you on windows then start the wallet with adm.

what do you mean exactly?

sorry I don't get it ;-)

I still have 0 connexions... which is highly surprising...

So, adnodes would be helpful and also a bootstrap
because the syncing has 3 years and 25 weeks to catch up
and it will take for even... when I will get the connections

thanks

Here are some nodes another forum member was kind enough to give me...

176.31.126.191
5.19.171.173
75.85.106.243
73.185.110.166

136.243.217.171
98.29.7.46
45.55.148.6
104.237.4.26

Sync will take a few hours in my experience... atleast it's not 3 years Wink Failing that I can put a bootstrap on one of our servers when I get back to work in a couple hours

thanks for the adnodes.

Yep, a bootstrap would be appreciated because I don't know why but I am trying ti sync the wallet on 2 PC, and the syncing is
completely stuck at over 2 years ago... I don't know why it is not really progressing

thanks in advance

LMFAOOOOOO Now that's comedy. DGB is absolutely NOT in a stable position long term. It was overvalued when it hit the hundreds, now it's falling down to where it belongs, right at the start. Perhaps if the coin wasn't pumped by the community in anticipation for a minecraft server ran by a school kid DGB wouldn't have seen such turmoil.

To Digibyte dev team .. please do something. If the price keeps getting down, not even get corrected and continue to fall, then Digibyte will lose the trust of people and society, even traumatist. I'm trying to hold my funds, even though I've lost more than 80% of my funds. Please Do something. Even more sad is I had time to sell Digibyte despite the loss to buy other coins just out ICO. But after 2 days I finally bought back Digibyte because of my love to Digibyte .. But the coins that I bought earlier even rose to almost 90%. The funds should be back to normal .. I get annoyed with Digibyte.

digibyte dev doesnt control market price, price controlled by trader, remember trader not developer

We all know that is the same entity that loaned Digibyte $250 000 in 2014 and yes this same entity owns > 50% of the coins if not more across the exchanges and in other addresses. When my friend who has never been involved in crypto looked at the twitter followers, he asked why they buying followers?

loaned Digibyte $250 000 in 2014? your other fantasies? so today you talk about loan and followers?

Hi, there are fees to send digibyte in my digybyte wallet?

It depends from where you want to withdraw your coin.... We can t know, ask the personn or the company who will do the transfert. But I think it will be a ridiculous fee.

I think this is a very good opportunity / moment for digibyte to show the crypto world you are the superior alternative to Bitcoin . Have you seen all the mess this bitcoin situation is making to the whole crypto currency ecosystem ? And everything for what ? For an issue Digibyte has already solved and proved :  Segwit (in fact the problem is other , segwit is one of the possible solutions)

This is the first of many problems Btc will face, and all them are features Digibyte already offers . Btc community is now arguing and the majority of them do not know what to do or even what is going to happen with their money . Digibyte should shows itself as the solution at this point !

From my point of view, this is the perfect moment for Digibyte to take some of the market cap Btc is loosing. Somebody should perform some marketing actions on this coin !

totall crap coin DGB...why did this go from 20 sats to 2500 sats in the first place? just becauseof segwit? this coin is pumped by own devs and deserves to be delsited from polo this is sick

Please tell me, dgb continues waiting for the prizes in July? part still going on?

DigiByte fell more than any other altcoin. People who invested on top lost more than 85% of their investment. DigiByte is a huge scam, get out of it quickly until it's too late!

Did you actually see this and screen capture it from Twitter or did you just read it on 4chan and decided it was real?

There's been a lot of anger here directed at the devs over the price. It is misdirected. They can't do anything about it. I can see now DGB has become enough of a threat that people are coming from everywhere to talk it down and generally be rude.

Just be patient and hold on to what you got. If you invested anything you couldn't afford to lose, I am sorry, but you can't blame the devs.

why did the people buy as price went up rapidly?

do people no longer think for themselves and think of quick profits? anyone with half a brain could see a pump group was doing it not devs not secret lizard race not the gov but pump groups.

pump groups keep doing it because stupid people like you buy as they shoot the price up. they rely on your greed of quick 1000% overnight hopes then laugh as they take your money or btc in this case then they laugh as you are too stupid to realise its a pump group and you blame devs.

ANY coin that rapidly raises in price is being manipulated... dont fucking buy whenthis happens!!!

Take it as an expensive lesson and learn for the future.

All these low posters calling scam are funny. they got greedy and lost their gamble. more funny is they are too embarrassed to post using their real account and want to vent at someone else blaming others than admit they made the mistake.

They'll likely lose to a pump group again and blame the next coin dev.
