Digibyte is a finalist for Citi Tech for Integrity challenge and general idea is that the price will go up ahead of 2nd October in expectation that DGB will win and it will keep going up if they do or it will go back down if they don't.

Price change month by month, you must choose time to invest. I had bought 390k dgb at 305 sats, hope price will raise to 700 sats but it only reach 630 sats and down. Now i still hold, hold until October

People are blinded by flash and hype. ICOs and masternodes are the "in" thing right now. It will pass. DGB has been around for way longer than most of these coins. It is a better Bitcoin, which is why I don't understand why Bitcoin is still so valuable. It's old tech.

Agreed. Even regular markets are governed by irrationality at times, but crypto even more so.
At least most people working in traditional markets undergo some kind of training but literally anyone can buy digital currencies & start trading & that is your regular trader. I think it's fair to say that a lot of people trading don't do a lot of homework & simply buy what seems to be the flavour of the month. Then when there is even unrelated news they sell. Knowing that the herd is like that, more experienced traders are often one step ahead of them, which only adds to the apparent "irrationality" of the market. But that is the market we chose of course.

The one thing which really gets me is how people in crypto say "invest" when they really mean "speculate". I think this confusion causes people to play the blame game when their blind speculation doesn't pan out how they anticipated.

At June, everyone had believed in DGB win Citi Tech award, and pushed price reach 2k sats. But award had been delay to October, then DGB price down slowly to now. I hold until October because i also believe Citi Tech will help DGB price raise to higher than now.
I dont' know more about English, so i easy write wrong word and sentence, maybe all of you understand what i want to talk

What is happening, BTC down to 4k3 after few minutes. Everyone sell all coin they have, get BTC, and sell BTC to USDT. Because anyone know only USDT is solid. So most of altcoins are downing quickly.

Those news are spread every year. Bitcoin was often declared as dead but of course wasnt. China has just forbidden ICOs.
But whats about Digibyte? They are still active but the price is very low, so i bought a litte^^

I think it's just another powermove by China to try and control bitcoin economy. This just signaled another dump. And who benefits?
