I hope you won't be disappointed but this is what Jared wrote on DGB telegram channel few days ago:
"To clarify with the community at this point we have not received any official confirmation of an October 2nd event for Citi Bank awards, nor can we find any public material released by Citi about the event. They have not publicly announced any event, so please do not spread unsubstantiated news. We don't speak on behalf of Citi, nor do we control their awards or Tech 4 Integrity challenge process.
We know many people are excited about the potential of an award, and there still might indeed be one in the future, but we do not want to mislead anyone. We have many innovative projects underway and we will continue working hard like we have over the past 4 years, evolving our technology towards greater blockchain mass adoption.

Please do not spread unsubstantiated fud. DiguSign is very much a part of the DigiByte ecosystem. DiguSign is exclusively built upon top of the DigiByte blockchain. Someone already posted DGB will be added to HitBTC on Monday according to 'rumours'. Where's the source? In his pants.. But, when DGB will get added to HitBTC it will significantly jump upwards, like all other newly added coins do there. HitBTC is not China, but has an immense volume. The moment I bought my dgb was at 358 satoshi... Saw the today pump at 376 ( coincidence ? ) and yet did not sell. Could have sold and buy lower though, but prefer holding, taking a small break of day trading. I think patience here is the key until october first. When dgb will be listed at hitbtc, it will be an almost ''GO'' signal to buy again so that the rest of the market could follow the hype. At that moment, it will be a good opportunity to make ping pong trading, arbitrary trading and then to wait for the usual end of hype dump to buy again and hold. Anyway, those are my predictions, I can be wrong, but I'm about sure I'm more than accurate. Expecting 2,000 satoshis at that moment is insane, but a good 10% to 25% is more than quite possible. |

Market met the first resistance. Between 360 and 370 satoshis per dgb.
Poloniex sell order book struggle now between 572500000 and 575000000 Digibytes.
2 or 3 whales sold at around 362 Satoshis, 30 btc worth of average. I'll include those who sold at a loss after the 376 satoshi pump.
There aren't a lot of activity toward the sell book as we saw in the last weeks. Main action is among the buy book ;
We had around 140 btc into buy orders, and despite the massive sell of today, there is a raise of around 10 btc anyway into the buybook. Actually at 154.78 btc.
People are still slowly accumulating before October 1.
Some strategies are going behind the curtain, some people will want to sell before october 1, some other will hold after october 1. In both case, market is answering.
More updates tomorrow.

How do you know Jared didn't contact him directly? The answer about the food is kind of a silly answer, but it basically means "the whole 9 yards" or "the whole enchilada". Meaning DGB is bringing alot to the table for 2017 and probably for 2018. I imagine the new website will have a few new things going on. |

I think Digibyte is a good crypto currency and it has a good future. After 1st of october you can still hold. Lots of good updates are comming. You can read their roadmap. |

Digibyte has speculated on their own price. They have a target price of one to ten dollars. So IMO if you expect Jared to do 1/4 of what he says which I do, then the coin will hit at least .25 cents. But it might take a couple years. But also he could hit his target price on the high end of ten dollars.

Buying at this time with having plans for long terms let's say like 3 months plus at least will be best way to deal. In alternative coins market three months is good enough time but be always flexible with extensions if there needs to do. Digibyte is the project where many things are being done and it worth to be invested in.
