Yes, router etc. was setup correctly, i am sure of it.
I had connection to other devices on the ip-range too, and scanned the whole range just to be certain.

I also connected directly and again scanned the whole range, nothing.

Now i tried your image, however when i click on the stats page it gives me this:
Quote
Error getting device list: ERR: socket connect(0) failed. I checked before and thought every board was properly connected.
and
Error getting version for 127.0.0.1:4028 ERR: socket connect(127.0.0.1:4028) failed

This seems to be an error when the pool connection is not yet achieved.

I am now certain that all network settings are correct, as the device can ping any website without problem.

Edit: Its ALIVE! (muahaha) dont really know what i did to make it work though, it seems as though it will only take pool settings when you´re lucky Wink

... atleast with the dragonminer firmware. Got a good 1th though, so thats nice.

ehehehe a good laugh here because of you, when you insert values on pool field you must wait about 5 to 10 minutes for it to start

Anyway him happy you managed to work that out

happy minning

It seems i have spoken too soon.
While you could technically say it is working now, with the dragonminer firmware i am only getting 850GH/s.
This seems to be due to an unusually high number of hardware errors, about 17% at all but one board. This happens even thoguh my cooling is excellent, intake temperature is under 20°C.

Has anyone run into similar troubles? I set the difficulty to the correct one the pool was providing so i cant imagine any problems there.

Does anyone know wether the amps on the DC/DC is software controlled? It seems to me that a power draw of 1kw flat is a bit low for these chips clocking 31.25GH.

Maybe this can be fixed by using the correct firmware?

I am currently running on gh.io, has ayone had problems on this pool with this miner?

Additionally, my unit will not start up when i position it like a desktop, but only when i put it down flat like a server. When i move it too much while it is on, it will simply shut down... What could that be?

If you do a "ps -aux"  look for your cgminer and see what options it has.  Maybe one of the A1PLL clocks is set to high.

Contacts...I guess...Mechanically something is loose...unstable...and is loosing contact(s) when moving...Just my 2 cents...if you want to check...

BTW...did you try a Technobit version of the software...? ...People are claiming that is quite stable...

What do you mean? custom raspbian linux with cgminer and hexminer patches?

Also i seem to have a problem with one of the boards:

That seems pretty bad... essentailly one board is nearly defective.

Yes, I have the same issue with my miner and the Dragon PI Image, nearly 30% HW errors on all four modules. Sad

Anyone knows how to check the running frequency of the miner with this version?

I had the same issue with a GPU rig once.  Turned out that the power cord didn't mate with the socket very well.  I ended up tying the cord down to the rack the rig was on, then twisting the power cable before connecting it to the PSU to provide some rotational torque.

I did get one of these units to review and the review is live now.
http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/news/bittech-1-ths-bitcoin-miner-review/2014/04/24

It is a good miner.  There are some issues but none that are different than any other Dragon I have seen.

The one blade that collider is having the high errors on seems to be not enough power.  I think the more robust power supplies that Bit-Tech is working on getting in the newer batch systems will take care of that and allow for better over clocking.

I am looking forward to the improvements that Bit-Tech is working on.

I just figured out how to make an image from it.
Here though is the generic image that works well.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=545642.0
2nd post has the image and the utility to put it on the SD card.

You can use this utility to save the image you have.
You choose read mode and save it.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/
From there you can share it.
Others can use the same utility to create a factory image for their miners.

I want to help.

Use win32 dis imager;
Choose as the directory where you want to produce the image and name it miner.img (or sth. else, but keep the .img)

At the right of that choose the drive your sdcard ist (e.g./H)

Press the read button.

It will then read the sdcard and create an image.
This image would help many people on here if you upload it e.g. in your dropbox and share the link.

I would recommend compressing it in a zip-file.

Also, you will have your own backup, if one of your sdcards  should fail.
