Can a wallet.dat file be corrupted or something?!
I just re-installed USDe coin wallet and let it re-sync, I replaced the wallet.dat in appdata with my backup and now it's giving me error whenever I open the USDe-qt.
"A fatal error occured. usde can no longer continue safely and will quit.

EXCEPTION: NSt8ios_base7failureE
ReadCompactSize() : size too large
C:\Users\User\Desktop\USDe\usde-qt.exe in Runaway exception"
Help?!!?!

Is all my coins gone?!?!

Found this on the web relating to the Bitcoin-QT:
Quote
Your blk0001.dat or blkindex.dat file got corrupted somehow (did you run out of disk space perhaps?). To recover, backup your wallet.dat file, remove everything except for wallet.dat from the bitcoin data directory, and re-run

Please try following these directions... remove everything except usde.conf and wallet.dat, and try relaunching.
I already searched the internet, I tried that including others, that's why I came here.

Do you have another copy of wallet.dat?  Can you try removing the usde folder in its entirety, download a fresh copy of qt and try again with the copy?  Permissions?  Under a different user perhaps?  How much USDe in the wallet?
I tried on my desktop and my laptop, deleted everything related to USDe and downloaded fresh from page 1 from mega.co.nz. Opened qt, waited for it to sync completely, closed the qt, went to %appdata%\usde and replaced that wallet.dat with my backup. It still gave the same error when I try to open with my wallet backup. It had 79k, was mining since day 1 with 510-800KH/s on my R9 290.

Try sending the .dat file to cryptonankee@usd-e.com.  Will take a stab at reproducing the issue on this end.
I was able to recover the deleted file of my ORIGINAL (not backed-up) wallet.dat file that was deleted a few days ago from right-clicking usde folder in the appdata and clicking properties, clicked previous version tab and returned it to the day that I deleted the original wallet. I got my wallet back, but my backup still doesn't work, so I'm scared to back up my original wallet or storing it offline on my flash drive. Undecided Is the problem from qt client or from the problem is from my computer only?

Will test on this end and let you know later.  Thanks.  BTW nethash making a comeback!
Also, try testing on a backup with the size more than 710 KB, that's how large my backup is.

When people are excited about something they will always talk it up, whether you interpret that as pumping or not is up to you.

We are not competing with other alts here so there is no good reason to mention them here, but to your point, how long has EAC been around?  Lol we are just on day #9 and no one is "pumping threads".

I backed up my wallet on my desktop to a USB (thumbdrive) and moved it to my laptop with no issues so far.  The network is still syncing but I don't see any issues.

250.000 USDE for a logo? OMG!!
You can't charge this amount of crypto, especially if it is a new crypto,I don't know if it's 15% mined so far. You need to think in perspective.

At the moment 250.000 USDe are 0.25 / 0.3 BTC... or even 0.5 if it will rise. Atm it´s falling. Believe me or not, this is nothing. A professional logo will cost (in germany) between €2.000 (easy start-up logo from professional newcomer designer) to $20.000 - 40.000 (and even more) for a bigger company logo made by an agency. A professional logo isn´t made in 1 hour - open PS, type some letter, use some "cool" filters, ready Wink Even if you make a quick and dirty one, you need at least 2 days for it.

I know you can make it much faster Wink
People like you deserve to be charged $20k for a logo!
You can get a quality logo done for more or less $20, if you spend $50 you can get already something superb-premium.

I´m working for 20 years in this business. I think, I know the market and the prices. If you want to work for under $10 a day, just do it - I can´t. If you know such a designer... please, give me to contact. I will pay him the $20! If it´s so easy, why don´t we have a professional logo allready. As a told in one of my older post here - and I think you didn´t see them, I think you just want to troll - there is an internetsite, where you can get semi-professional logo from newcomer designer around the world. Even there the "cheapest" ones costs €229.

But don´t tell the ppl, we will get a "quality" logo for less than $20, this is ridiculous!

And again, I don´t want money from you. I haven´t time to do it. This point missed you, too. My posts are just advices.
