i tweeted Mark Dice a few hours ago to have a look at usd-e.com, not gonna spam forums and such, but i probably reached some people that follow him, and support our goal.

i read a few lines about one of the dev's, and i know from experience.. calling names and such does not look very professional.

kindly ask to stop this, it won't do any good. it's okay to state your opinion but do it like an adult.

IMPORTANT COMMUNITY ALERT

I have actionable reasons to believe that the USDe Coin core developer (DrRazi) may be attempting to abandon the project.  He has not responded after an internal argument over project development scheduling since Saturday, and this is unusual, especially since he is very aware of many wallet updates that have been waiting.  As you know, I (Cryptonankee) have been running this operation, but it is time to publicly admit that DrRazi doesn't appear to understand what active coin development entails.  This cannot be a semi-part-time effort.  We, as a 'team' have had numerous arguments over this.

I am sorry for the inconvenience and this notification, but I decided to post it in good faith and complete transparency to protect our community's investment.  Other DEVs would probably dump and leave ASAP, but since I believe in this coin's potential and you, our community, I am trying to prevent this from happening.  

I will keep everyone posted on further developments.  Depending on how things pan out, we may need to hire a new core developer to take source code development over.  As far as I can tell, if we join the community's forces together, the amount of coins at the DEV's disposal if he chooses to dump, will be negligible.  

Again -- I know this will draw a lot of negative attention, but it needs to be done.  The USDe cannot be developed by someone who wishes to take a hands-off approach, sit back and hope for a pay day.  This is not a pump & dump coin -- and I've made this clear to the DEV.

Further, I offered to the DEV that he should do the right thing and send 5 MIL of his USDe back and credentials for github, so that it can be used to hire a new DEV, who will be able to commit his time & resources into this project.  Again, I have heard nothing in return, thus why I am sending this warning and FYI to all fellow USDe'ers.

I invite everyone who wishes USDe well to contact DrRazi here on bitcointalk (that is his nick) -- and e-mail him at drrazi@usd-e.com.  The goal is to nudge him in correcting his attitude or letting someone who genuinely cares about USDe to take development over.

In case we do not hear back from him at all, we will together come up with a plan B.  This will likely entail pooling our funds together to hire a replacement DEV to keep the USDe core up to date.  

All of the other pending fiat to USDe exchange, API, web, marketing, services etc... initiatives are moving forward without interruption, so let's keep our focus. Now is not the time to quit.

So when can we expect an update?

As I'm sure there are numerous people who knows who he is IRL and are aware that he is involved with this coin. I wouldn't imagine him "running off with the money" so to speak. This would be similar to an athlete signing a contract, getting paid upfront, playing 2 games and then quitting.
I don't think 10 or even 100BTC is worth ruining your reputation.
I have ABSOLUTELY no idea who he is, or anything about him....but if he is planning to keep the money and run, he'll likely sit on it for awhile because it's got nowhere to go but up (especially after this fiasco and it having already bounced back in a few hours).
Razi's got a tough decision to make, but whichever path he chooses won't affect the coin. If he dumps, we will all buy it, and we win. If he keeps it, nothing changes. If he does what's right and returns it (negotiating to keep some of it for the work he has done) then USDe will look even better making his and our coins more valuable (sounds like a no-brainer right?)

tl;dr No matter what Razi does, it won't affect us.

the only reason cryptsy adds coins is the volume of btc involved and the amount of people trading, fast cash from fees.
cryptsy is not a non profit organisation and is like many others only in it for the money.

That's exactly right.  No word from Razi yet.  He was personally offended by my attempts to get him to provide a solid timeline for anything; though no offense was intended.  Ego problems, which I asked him to put away for USDe.  Hopefully he does the right thing.  

If not, just as you said, we'll move on and the impact on USDe will be negligible.  In fact, I am beginning to recruit a new DEV proactively now.  If the community wants to assist with this process, please ask around.  The requirements are someone who is willing to share stake in USDe, preferably U.S.-based, senior level coder with no emotional baggage, knowledgeable with litecoin source, Windows & Linux wallet compilation & meticulous attention to detail.
