it is very difficult to predict the crypto market whose movements can change over time. it makes a lot of people miss the moment, but I still believe if this crypto will still exist and continue to grow because this is a technology that will be used by everyone.

I still believe that bitcoin will have a bull run on this coming next few months even if it is now experiencing a huge dip. I believe it will really rise soon and I think it will have enoughf time because year 2018 is still have more moths and it will be more interesting this coming few months so let us wait and make believe on it.

I agree if 2018 cryptocurrency and blockchain will become mainstream, and this should happen because now many people will know cryptocurrency and blockchain. So, in my opinion there is no problem everyone will know, even that is the best way to make the price of cryptocurrency increase and the response of each country that prohibits cryptocurrency will be reduced.

Like someone said in one reply, it is difficult to predict what will happend in crypto world. But I think it won't go mainstream in 2018. In fact, crypto was more popular in 2017. I do not link it for price, but many people do. But when it comes to future, maybe 3, 5 or more years, I think it have bright future.

2018? I don't think that we can go mainstream right now because of too much regulations going on around the world. Government as constantly at looking ways for people not to go to crypto so I doubt that it will happen this year. But I believe that we can go mainstream, but not this year though. Maybe it will take another 5 - 10 years before we can see people from all over places using their bitcoin as some mode of online payment or buying stuff in the internet thru bitcoin. Right now its not happening.

Yes, I agree with that. 2018 is not a year for crypto goes mainstream. Because of many regulation that are not legal in the other other country. There are also many government that are anti of bitcoin. There are also many things to be fix in the cryptoworld. So  that it is easy to use in many transaction. Also in this year, there are many ICO project that are not successful in their campaign.

we cannot speculate bitcoin until we cannot see. wayback last quarter of 2017 bitcoin price was very high this setuation we can not say that crypto is the mainstream already. last year is the year of crypto because of the higher price of bitcoin. this year lets wait and hope that price will bubble up also this last quarter.

I guess it will take more time.When in december,bitcoin reach the new ATH,the impact is not so great that affect the public opinion.While there're some people that start to invest because of that,but it's not enough to make crypto become mainstream in the masses.

it is called mainstream "adoption" and likewise take time. it is not something that can happen over night so you can wake up one morning and see bitcoin has hit "mainstream".

In my perception, we need to do a massive promotion of cryptos regardless of what non believers may think. Cryptos are good, they are giving the unemployed a means of earning living. For cryptos to go mainstream we need to gather forces and prove our critics wrong.

And I just think the opposite. Peak popularity Bitcoin last winter. Then the masses learned about it and many people buy BTC for a high price. Since the beginning of this year, there has been a big decline in the market, many people lost money. Popularity and demand decreased. Big "Bosses" push the price down and buy bitcoins from the population. Soon when all laws will be adopted and everything will be ligalized, the blockchain and crypto-currencies will completely enter our life. Then it willis be year when crypto goes mainstream.
