Wasn't expecting Nigeria to be the ones winning so fair play to them if anything I had a feeling Iceland would be the ones to win. Damn, I really need to get some correct scores in as I'm quickly becoming irrelevant in this. Correct results just aren't the way to earn pts you need to hit a few scores.

Don't worry to much, I have been in the last 2 places since the beginning of the pool but I am not worried. A Joker game if hited right can give you up to 600 or more points so it can make you climb many many positions with only one game. Find a few other correct scores and you will see yourself fighting in the top from the bottom. I will take a screenshot of my position as if it happens I reach top positions in the end of the tournament I will put up the famous meme:

Musa saving Nigeria with two great goals, Iceland was looking good but Nigeria with the 3-5-2 dominated the 2nd half.

Good news for Argetina is that Nigeria won. Bad news for Argentina is that they play against Nigeria in the last match. Iceland, Nigeria, and Argentina, have the chance to qualify to the round of 16 in the last match..crazy!

Yeah, I understand that, however honestly I couldn't predict what I'm having for tea tonight at the moment. I've been shocking. I'm glad I've learned about the joker system now though, and will be trying to get the mini challenges more often than I have been doing to try and rake myself back in this.

What a shame for Serbia to lose in the 90 minute , clamorous error from their defense. I had it as Joker the result 1-1 and I was expecting 601 points yet I got 0, now for the first time in this pool I am a bit sad for such loss.

had it 1-1 as well , so lost in the pool but won a nice 100 euros by taking Swiss DNB
regarding the joker , is it  only available one time to use ? cause I used it on Uruguay vs Saudi Arabia and after that I wasn't able to use it at all

Man, that sucks. Doesn't look like the results are going towards our favor down at the bottom of the leader board. Thankfully, at the moment my results in the bracket challenge are looking somewhat favorable. Serbia as a whole have impressed me this World Cup though.

well that's weird cause I wasn't able to use today and yesterday , as I said the only time I used the joker was for Uruguay vs Saudi Arabia so even before that time I haven't used it since I didn't know about it

I chose yet another bad day to make bets, I also thought Iceland were the pick of the day, given the way they've played their hearts out every match before. I also thought Nigeria were just so out of their depth, never seen a weaker Eagles but then they also turned that game on its head.

Correct results are shitty, I've been earning 3-10 points on each correct result, I was just saying how "unfair" it seems that I got 3 points on a 4-0 prediction for Belgium (ended 3-0) and 7 points on Brazil for predicting 3-0 (ended 2-0), when you get more points for correct total goals scored, regardless of how you predicted the outcome.

Different system, different luck I guess. Also, hate when the bonus challenge only comes on 1 hour before the game, I keep forgetting to go put it in. 30 points can really make the difference.

Once per FIFA Match Day. Now it's Match Day 2, so you used it for that. (Matchday 1 2 and 3 are for the first, second and third games of each group). You get one more Joker when the 3rd game starts for Group A again.

Btw guys already placed two bets for tomorrow , taking Germany vs Sweden U2.5 goals at X2.02
also taking Belgium vs Tunisia O2.5 goals at X1.99 , so basically I need one bet to win to break even or win a little but IMO these two are great plays and they both have over 50% chance to hit if the games went as predicted

more sure about Belgium though , but considering Germany's last performance I can't see 3 goals on that match

I normally consider Iceland to be extremely hard to break down, and normally defend valiantly. However, I didn't watch the match so I'm not sure if they did defend their hearts out, and were just unlucky.

I can  beat that. I got 3 pts if I recall correctly on the Brazil prediction, because I predicted 3-0 when it finished 2-0.  I thought that was pretty damn unfair. Seems like there's a lot of luck in predicting the score rather than the result. Predicting the result seems to be just pretty shitty in general.

Yeah, I agree I didn't mean unfair in it's literal sense there. There's an element of luck in predicting the correct result, but some knowledge can be used in this. However, predicting the goals is a lot more luck based.

I've actually been okay at predicting the results, but anything more than a 2 goal gap just smashes your points down, and there's literally no gain in predicting the correct result if you didn't get close to the goals scored prediction.

Yeah, I wouldn't complain about it at all of course, but yeah in this system, there's actually less incentive to go for a huge win result than to just try and keep to a total goal and safer draw games, esp when the games will come where there's nothing to play for (Peru, for example).

At this current rate, I am dropping 3-0 and 4-0 predictions, but not sure if I should go for betting underdog all the time for good returns or just predict 2 goal games all the way.

I’m in 10th place which is pretty crap, might have been better if I was able to do the bonus stuff.

Belgium looking good, 8 goals in two games...although Panama and Tunisia are really weak teams. My MOTM was Hazard, what a beast. And Kevin De Bryune with yet another underwhelming performance.

South Korea vs Mexico...I'm expecting a win from Mexico.

Oh, f*ck, I wasted my joker on Belgium - Tunisia match. I predicted 3:1 and got only 8 points, lol. So far I haven't predicted any correct scores in Matchday 2 and I'm already 900 points behind 1st place.
And hoq many moments to score Batshuayi wasted today? 4, 5 or 6?
Now I hope that wins of Mexico and Germany will bring me a bit more points
