I predicted that Croatia will win 1:0 and I spent my joker on that tame - I got over 300 points. But I'm only in 11th place currently. Croatia is one of team which I really like, but honestly, before world cup I didn't saw them going so dar, because their group was really difficult. And they can't win without drama - two games win after penalties and one after extra time.

So I've got this game down as 1-1 and they're about to start extra time with that score now. Got a feeling I'll get shafted again with a late goal like in the Russia game. Getting 700 points from this game is pretty much the only way I'll still be in the running for top five. Really wish it was just the 90 minutes they take the scores from. Far too hard to predict the draws this way.

It hurts doesn't it? I got the game to 2-2 but I know that a late goal from Croatia will be hard to match by England. The sad thing to see is that the early goal in England got me confident about seeing early goals from each side, my confidence suddenly shrink when the first half suddenly became boring with only a few attempts in each side. But oh well I have screwed up big time on this part of the Pool, Good luck to the rest who is still competing for the top spot of the leaderboard.

Late goals that fuck up your winnings are always the worst. It's like the points/money is already yours then it's snatched away at the last moment. I'm 955 points behind second place LFC_Bitcoin now (assuming the tables are correct). Gonna put some crazy scores in for the third place play off and the final and hope for the best. The only hope I have for the tournament now is a Croatia win but I think France will spank them.

Trofo you bastard haha. I was really hoping the scores would stay at 1-1 because I knew for sure you were backing Croatia at 2-1 but fully deserved extension of your lead for backing your own country.

I sorely want to get a joker right on the final and maybe a Croatia win will get that, but then looks like a few of us will also be betting on that outcome.

Maybe a 3-2 Croatia win or some other crazy score. Croatia aren't exactly goal scorers though... Not against France I can't see it anyway.

I also predicted a draw and a correct score of 1-1. I fell asleep after regular time and couldn't watch the rest I thought my prediction already won I forgot about ET because all extended matches always ends on a penalty shootout. My early prediction for the finals and 3rd place match are France and Belgium.

Is there any way to see the bracket predictions? or no we'll have to wait until all matches are over.

I guess I am out of the race to compete for the top 5 spots on the leaderboard now after Croatia won the match against England in extra time, I have made a 1-1 prediction with the joker card applied. The players of England seems to get exhausted and lost their focus in defending and that allows Croatia to get the crucial goal in extra time, I think Gareth Southgate should really switch England team formation into 5-4-1 and just totally focus on defending to drag the game into a penalty shootout, but I guess he might have his own plan that backfire apparently.

Well done to Croatia, they deserved to play in the final. England showed just a pathetic gameplay tonight with Harry Cane in total shadow, in fact I don't remember if he got a ball tonight. Croatia this year have world calibre players, but against France it will be tough if not impossible for them to win.

Did you see how Croatia played?  They been beating down Kane, Lingaard, Young and a couple others, and were getting away with some of it.

Anyway, I could def see them win it depending on how France reacts to Croatia's rough play.  And I could see it already...  Poor Giroud, Mbappe, Pogba and Kante... They gonna take a beating.

I had Croatia 1-2 England too, I underestimated how good Croatia’s midfield are. Modric & Rakitic are absolutely world class & the former has 4 CL winning medals, you can’t make up for that kind of big game winning experience.

I'm sure Croatia will give everything they have in the Final match, it is a good chance for them to make a new history of World Cup. But France will not make it easy, so I think it will be a very tight game and both team will play so carefully. Obviously most of us will prefer to see an offensive game from both team so it will be a good Final Match, it will be boring if both team play defensive and relying on counter attack only. I'm hoping to see a game like Spain vs Portugal on the group stage. That match is still the best match in this 2018 world cup IMO, entertaining match with many attempts and goals.

I put two last games predictions in order to win more than 1000 points in total. Of course not going to happen but just for fun, predicted both the nil nil situation (0-0). Played the joker on France, I am pretty sure the Croatian coach would like to bring the game to the penalties in order to have a real chance to win the world cup. I doubt they can win it in the regular or extra time against France.

At first I thought so too, but after thinking during these hours I took a comparison of head to head players of both teams. While France has big names, the teams in which play the majority of the Croatian players are far more strong than those in which France players play. As for which team to bet on, it is better to bet on under 2.5 goals rather than pick a team. It should be a winning bet, usually we have not see many goals in wc finals.
