Data protection is bigger issue, than virus/malware removal, after your Data is violated. then the title should say best data protection antivirus  |

I just got a new mac and putting windows on hald of the HD. My question is what is the best antivirus to use? I have only used OSX until now. Thanks
none, other than malware bytes. bet you didn't know antivirsus programs can give your computer a virus. |

Also, obviously most viruses are written for Windows OS's, so a Linux distro with a AV and firewall would be best, but many of us don't want to use Linux on our home PC's (myself included).

I don't use any specific antivirus software, if i system infected i will just format it

When using windows throughout the years I've always found Malwarebytes anti-malware to be the best anti virus program. It's free unless you want to pay for the 'full' version, but it doesn't get you much more than the free version. Easy to use, both for protection and scanning.
