You can download the wallet at www.fyrstikken.tv/orgcoin/
It's a windows installer that comes with a piece of the blockchain to prevent issues, worked for me!

Thank you. Finally one that works. Takes for ever though, its a slow update compared to others, but I am a happy camper now, and I will now aim to mine more of the ORGcoin

than you

The blockchain growth is rather steep at the moment yeah, we're working out a few options to slow down the growth of the blockchain to make it more viable for new users to get started. I can also confirm that we are working on a web wallet, advantage of that would be that you wont have to download the blockchain.

More information regarding the ORG pools can be found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=526757.0
Made a separate topic to encompass all the pool information, we are currently working on an Aurora pool and are also working to implement pesetacoin as merged mining. Once peseta is implemented this would mean that you are mining 3 coins at the same time!

Anyway, glad you got the wallet working and are able to get started with org!

OrgCoin has been added to Alt Explorer with a block explorer, coin specifications, wallets links, blockchain seed link, addnodes, and links to pools and exchanges. If I've missed any pools or exchanges please drop me a line here or email support@altexplorer.net.

Profitability data is pulled from http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/ so when ORG is added to an exchange they track it will be included.

If sharing the wallet download link for the windows wallet or blockchain seed please use the [Suspicious link removed] URL so that I can track the bandwidth being used.

Just download vmware or virtualbox, then you can build the wallet from source in virtual debian, easy-peasy, plus you don't have to put your faith in the good intentions of fyrstikken...

Is this coin dead?

Coin is quite dead.  The developer (Isis/Nova/and a bunch of other names) seems to have completely lost interest.  I'm not sure why, the coin was beginning to make headway.
