Industrial 19 port Steel casing USB Hub (with power cable & USB cable)
20 Amps @ 5v
Both 220/110 voltage options available

*** PROPERLY supports Red/Blue/Ice Fury 2.6 Ghs AND Bi-Fury 4+ Ghs USB miners***
Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Description
This is a 19 port hub with an integral power supply that is capable of reliably supplying MORE than 700mA per port without overheating or becoming a fire hazard. Comes with usb and power cables, everything you need to make the hub work out of the box.

-   Fully 480mb/s at each port
-   16 Front facing Standard A USB ports
-   3 Side facing Standard A
-   1 Master hub connection Standard B for connection to Computing Equipment or other hubs
-   Fully fused internally via multiple poly-fuse resettable fuses both on each individual port and on the main power feed to the Ports.
-   UK/EU/USA Plugs available!
-   Hub runs COOL
-   Colour: Silver

Unlike cheaper USB ports that only implement links at USB 1.0 standard (12mb/s speeds but state they are 'compatible' with USB 2.0) this is a professional FULL 480 Mb/s port that complies and implements the full 2.0 USB standard. It may also be used to connect to generic USB 1.0 equipment.

The good thing about these hubs is that you can load them up with 19 Bi-Fury miners (around 76 gh/s) and the miners would STILL run as intended.

Price

bitcoin/paypal: $150 usd

Weight
2.2 Kg each hub

Payment Methods
1. Bitcoin: you can just pay BTC and attach the transaction details to this thread.
2. Paypal (PM me for details)

Bitcoin Payment Address: 16NqeYCSwU8fx7FhEpQiuYGaQJgssDuuwS

Send Address by PM, with copy of BTC transaction ID, so we can tie it all together!!!
You MUST give country so we can set voltage switch before shipping!!!

SHIPPING

There are two options available:

1. Expedited Airmail (Speed post) with tracking number (2-5 days):  $70 usd (additional items +$30 usd)
2. Normal Airmail with tracking number (5-14 days) : $40 usd (additional items +$20 usd)

The time it takes for normal airmail really depends. I have seen it as fast as 4 says to places like USA. Right now isn't a busy time so they should be no delays. I have regular shipments going to the post office Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday

I really NEED the following PM info:

1. Full address (if this is wrong then it CANNOT be delivered)
2. Phone number (if express, so the carrier can arrange delivery)
3. Voltage you want it set to 110/220
4. price you translated at (So it is visible if you got the discount for BTC)

Background
Why our hub is 'special'?
(ungrounded BUCK convertors on mains supply are potential killers)
A point than not many people know is that over 90% of the powered USB hubs on the market are actually 'defective', and in many cases have an inherent and potentially dangerous electrical fault.(It's why Chicks in China keep electrocuting themselves when answering a charging  mobile), this is what happens when you design products in isolated labs with little regard for the environment they are used in. (then rip the design without understanding the implications and decision making)

Potentially one of the reasons why we keep seeing so many people with  USB chains that go down or fail to recognize devices when they are plugged in. Usually the people with the SBC's  ( Pi, etc) are more prone to these faults, because these  powered USB hubs usually come with a PSU that has been ripped from a phone PSU design and as such were never designed to operate in a USB environment worse many USB implementations incorrectly mix the shield with the 0V line.

A very simple test…..
Take your USB hub PSU and measure the output voltage, you should see about 5-12v.
Now… find an earthed point (metal computer case) and measure first from GND to the center pin of the 5-12v PSU and then GND to the outside tab of the 5-12v PSU.(making a note of the readings each time)
On the shitty PSU's you can maybe read as much as 120-160v between the PSU & GND.
So….. the question is… when you have your nice shiny computer running, and you plug in your 10USD USB hub with the external PSU, WTF does the 120-160V difference in potential go once the supply is no longer floating?
(…. yep into the GND connection of the connected USB equipment, which then throws the USB silicon out of wack & possibly causing latch-up of the silicon.)

Powered USB hubs are a VERY bad idea unless they are EARTHED and have PSU's DESIGNED with a Delta.!!!!
A REALLY REALLY cool trick is that if you 'stack' multiple 'cheap' powered hubs into each other and reverse the PSU two pin plugs, you can build a voltage multiplier.

Freddyfarnsworth is correct these are the best quality hub that I have put my hands on.  I have had 10-15 different hubs and for bitfury sticks none of them work as well as these do.  I am running 16 ice 'nano' fury sticks   clocks of 54 and 55 on one of these. they just work.

I did 16 at freq 54or 55 on this hub.  no power errors

This hub does  only  7 of 10 at 54 with an occasional power error

the classic sign of a lack of power on a nano fury overclock is this line of type in bfg miner.

NFY 0 : Frequency drop over 50% detected reinitializing .

with this repeating a lot you need to drop your oc.   well I can't get all 55 over clocks with this hub but I get 16 working 10 at 55 over clock and 6 at 54 overclock    zero power warnings.

the 16 sticks are doing 2.5-2.6 each so 16 sticks get 41gh and use 55 watts k-a-watt meter.

I purchased one from razorfishsl on this site.  I liked it so much I bid on  an ebay auction  for a second one  and I now have a second one coming in.  I posted here because the ebay auction was done by klintay.  I hope to get it soon.  the last one took 8 days was held in customs four days or would have been quicker.

These are so much better then any hub I have used. especially better with bitfury chips.

Would have more, but my stupid laptop's usb controller apparently cried uncle Tongue

Want more, will be in touch Smiley

I got this today.  I now have 2 units.  I am running 32 ice fury sticks.  with clocks at 54 + 55 my total is 87gh for 32 sticks and 121 watts of power used.

These are fine hubs truly good quality.

 I have used:

I have used a few other hubs. no links and I use higher quality power bricks

This 19 port hub is far far far better for  the bit fury chip.  I run ice fury on it and they are better on these hubs then any of the hubs above.

I run ant miners and you don't need this hub for an ant miner unless you want to go to the 2.2 overclock  .  I want to thank the op for shipping this quickly to me.  thanks phil

Received the hub today: really nice piece of equipment. And I can confirm that it's compatible with Raspberry Pi.

I posted the first part of my review in the hubs thread here.

Razorfish is right be careful with the fans. I wonder if there is a way to repair damaged sockets?

You are welcome mate! They do work fantastic with the bitfury chips which require that extra bit of extra juice to get their full potential.

Nice review, i would be interested in seeing how these handle the bi-fury miners as well...might need to wait for the price of them to come down a little first though.

Good day,

I would be interested in the HUB, what would be the BTC price including shipping to Austria?

If the hub sent as a gift, because of the customs? HUB is 100% compatible with RaspberryPi?

They have a photo of the back, for a possible wall mounting?

regards

There is a 6% discount for btc orders. The price including shipping to Austria is $210 usd/ 0.259btc (according to current coinbase btc price)

with the 6% discount that is 0.244btc in total. They are compatible with RaspberryPi and just send me a message once you make payment with your delivery details/special customs requests etc.

Not too sure about the back mountings but will upload pics shortly for you to see for yourself.
