here is one of the better profit/loss calculators for miners.

     http://btcinvest.net/en/bitcoin-mining-profit-calculator.php

difficulty is not adjustable enough, but can be interpolated
if you are careful to fit a true enough curve, if you are seek-
     ing greater accuracy.

if you encounter a better one, please post/let me know.

Do we have to do anything to get notified of winning?  (Other than posting here with our lucky number and our btc wallet?)

sorry  for  asking , but why  is the deadline of the domain name "pbmining.com"  2014-12-24 02:00:00Z ? And you provide the service for 5 years.

I'll make sure I make a special request to purchase 5 years of service.  We never thought of that actually.. I had expected to pay for the domain annually like most people do.

eg. just because your drivers license expires doesn't mean you stop driving.   You renew it right?  Wink

thanks.

yes -- determine if you are a winner and notify pbm.

find the contest rules towards the beginning of this thread.
gives date, time and details.

HERE ARE THE DETAILS...

You have a chance to win a contract with us for 5GH/S!

Watch the closest* mined Block On Monday, March 17th, at 22:00UTC.
On Blockchain.info, that Block will have a Hash, which is indicated within the red box.

This timestamp (circled in green) is for demonstration purpose only.

If your two digit Entry # in this thread shows up at any point in the Hash, you win!  You will have access to your LIVE DASHBOARD on Pbmining.com within 24 hours to watch your mining contract in action!  We will then pay you out for those accumulated Bitcoins every Sunday for 5 years!

In this example we used, the winners would have been 31, 14, 42, 29, 41, 11, 18, 82.  If your entry number matches ANY of those numbers, you win!  Yes, we realize some Hashes could show a VERY LARGE number of winners, and we are prepared for that!

Can I win more than once?
Of course you can win with the same number!  However, you can only enter once.

So how do I join the draw?
Just post here with the following:
"And this little piggy went hashing!"  (doesn't have to be perfect)

You must also post an image with a pig related theme.

Winners will be asked to PM me.

What is my Entry #?

Your "Entry #" will be determined by taking the first letter and last letter of your username and then using this to convert it:

If I were playing, PBMINING would be #77

So what is PB Mining, anyway?

We own Bitcoin mining hardware which we sell in the form of contract hosting.  Our "Live Dashboard" solution allows our customers to monitor their contract in action.  Users get paid every Sunday!  Check out our eBay account at http://www.ebay.com/usr/pbmining
We have a 100% feedback rating, mostly consisting of ASIC hardware sales.   Paypal (through Ebay) and Bitcoin is accepted.  The goal of this promotion is to show everybody what they can expect from our cheap mining contracts by letting them take part in this industry free of charge.

*In the rare event that there are multiple blocks which are equally as close to March 17, 22:00:00UTC, then both/all of those blocks will be used for winning numbers from their corresponding Hash numbers.

**For you to be eligible for this draw, you must have a minimum of 20 posts at the time of entering, with an account no newer than this announcement (Feb 12th, 2014).

***Payouts will be made every Sunday before Midnight (GMT - 6).

dont forget the picture of a pig,.. etc

Most of you are doing an error. Every participant at the contest must have at least 20 post at the time of entering at the contest and the account must be created not after the date of the release of contest...

To be clear - from the post of contest:

**For you to be eligible for this draw, you must have a minimum of 20 posts at the time of entering, with an account no newer than this announcement (Feb 12th, 2014).

Go for it, it's a lot of work though to get your posts up and won't net you nearly that much, and we have only been around since January after BTC shot up.  I also doubt bitcointalk wouldn't notice it either somehow and delete them.    Cheesy  Anyone is more than welcome to try though.. it would be interesting

Did you know?: Most of our hash power comes from other sources.  We are now specialized in the resale of cloudmining contracts through our associates!

my time machine is in the shop right now, and 13000 posts looks a bit discouraging. i think i'll just go back to 2009 and buy btc instead.

I've few questions to PBM.

is the 1GHs prize still on?
I'm not sure if I understand conditions. May I search my entry # anywhere in blockchain or just certain blocks?

I found my Entry #59 in block 379340. it's pretty close to your example block from your first post.
