Ha, i've been waiting for one particular non-enthusiast anti-bitcoiner to ask me what i'm going to do when the value drops to zero...
I'll tell him ... "That's the perfect time to buy!"

saw the overstock atricle earlier today..
Tiger direct accepts btc..
anywhat... btc will never go away

Oh I'm not a non enthusiast at all, I'm really interested ( altough a real newbie ) I aslo do not think that btc will dissapear, I also think that litecoin will stay too, both acting a bit as gold and silver, and probably an other one acting as bronze.

If I wasn't enthusiast I would not invest with PB Mining as well  Tongue

Is it possible to make the affiliate system "Piggyback Partners" more transparent?

It would be great if I can see the Referral Stats (Date, Hits, Uniques, Sign ups).

Thanks.

That's a great idea actually.  We will use that idea with the new site.  Smiley

Did you know?: Most of our hash power comes from other sources.  We are now specialized in the resale of cloudmining contracts through our associates!

Expected launch is 1-2 weeks.  There will be a time of propagation when we will be temporarily disabling new user registration and purchases so that we are not affected by mixed information being confused by 2 servers during the switch.  The result will be a much more secure site, and more scalability so that we can easily make changes on the fly.  Adding new features from that point will be a breeze, and from that point you will see a lot more functionality available.  We will also be implementing as many suggestions from our customers as possible, so feel free to send your ideas this way Smiley

hi All,
i found the PB mining site and thought that the contracts are really good but first wanted to find out some info, such as if there are any charges, other than the initial price of the contract, also is there any recurring charges during the 5 year contract?
if anyone can help with this info it would be really good.

That topic has been discussed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=418183.640
And our stance is still the same.

We don't want to show you any information on our set up if we don't have to.  We are getting plenty of business the way we are set up already.  We do not want to violate our sales agreements with our supplier(s) and there are other issues which may put our entire operation and customers at risk if we were to fulfill these requests.

Why sell 5 year contracts on GHs that will pretty much be worthless after year 1?  There's no Ghs that you can buy/sell today that would be worth anything when the difficulty is going to negate it.  It seems that you're trying to take advantage of the fact that newcomers to mining aren't going to realize that and spend a lot of money up front without a solid understanding of the ROI after 1 year.

As far as privacy, you can hire an auditing firm (Ernst & Young) to validate that you actually have fixed assets and not disclose your trade secrets. This allows investors to know that you actually have a method/process and a production facility without disclosing confidential information to competitors or bad actors. Many companies do this that sell proprietary products to the government or companies seeking investments from multiple private equity firms.

I've never heard anyone argue to have a shorter contract before?

Well, lets look at it... as it stands, if current difficulty remains the 1GH/s will take 10-12 weeks to break even... how many weeks in 5 years? Yes the amounts will get smaller but even if the break even point is 52 weeks.... (that would be difficulty going up and the amount earned to drop to less than 20% of what it is now it is sitting at now in that 1st year), then the rest of the 5 years (being 4 years) is cream, it may not be much but better than some I have seen...

I see you point in that it could be a ponzi.... which is a valid point but the arguement about not being worthwhile after 1 year is moot as you will not pay anything after the initial.

So being no ongoing fees what would you expect? You could say hey, after 1 year donate the rest... Do some people actually think before hitting POST?
