Going by some traders I follow, this latest selloff is most likely due to CME Bitcoin Futures expiry this week.  Already looks like the selloff is over mostly. Bitcoin will be bullish again once it is back over $10000 maybe sometime next month.

I always hope that Bitcoin will not go so low. The minimum was reached already, and I do not think that we have to worry about its next fall. I am waiting for 10 thousand in the nearest 2 months, and probably, 15-20K close to the winter.

I don't think that bitcoin can fall down and touch the 6000$, I think it will rebound soon and start to increase until it stable again in the 10k$ level. Bitcoin have a great potential, so people should don't panic and believe in bitcoin, if they support bitcoin so much in the next days, we can see a high increase of bitcoin price and the market will be green again. I hope that bitcoin will reach the 19k$ again by the end of this year.

this week has caused a lot of problems for me. it would be a very bad sign if bitcoin will fell below 6k$.
If you are a long term holder then you are not alone, we share the same pain for this weeks.

But you don't have to get upset just because we are seeing the corrections for this moment. There's still room for increase for bitcoin, we have to take the advance way of trading just like what the experts are doing.

And that advancing strategy isn't so hard, buy during these painful weeks. As the real cause of this bloody weeks I guess was due to the hacks.

It is likely that soon we will see a picture where BTC will cost 5k$. For half a year, the market is in a recession.
Going the price to $6k will be a best entry price for those people who wants to join in crypto as they can buy more at cheaper price and gain big profits once the price bounce back at $8k. I will not hesitate to buy more if that happens.

There is one major support around 7000. If BTC clearly breaks this level, we might see Bitcoin in the 5k area again.

But there is also a chance that it bounce which should lead into an uptrend to break 10k.

Next week will give directions. It‘s 50:50 imho.

will not happen if bitcoin returns to the price of $ 6K because now bitcoin will definitely continue to show a spectacular increase, many predictions say if bitcoin will reach the price of $ 15k - $ 20k this year. hopefully this is realized

Almost lost $1000 today in values in last two days.  Just heard the bull has just entered. What's really causing this impact? The price was bit fluctuating between $8500 to $7500 for past ten days but today's impact brought down the value near $7500. Are we towards $6000?

there is a possibility that it will reach that low, there are some who are saying the Mt. Gox had entered a deal with other institutions, wherein they will try to make the value of bitcoin go down as low as 6000 usd and then Mt. Gox will be selling them the bitcoins that they have, kind of an illegal trade if you ask me, still that is just rumors, but basing on crypto market, rumors tend to be true, but I'm not sure this time, even though it is true or not, the value of bitcoin will not go down below 5000 usd at the moment, because a lot of people who had cash out during ATH are just waiting to buy back at a lower price, bitcoin is still a safe investment, even if it goes down to 6000 usd, we don;t need to worry.

You have to be quick. The price below $6000 will be very brief.

BTC at 6k is actually a good thing remember always buy when it's on the deepest, time to withdraw some money in the bank  Grin Grin. the bad things is bounty hunters reward will be affected with this. crypto mining reward will be also affected by someone looking for a short-term reward.

Yeah it's possible that it will go to 6k or even lower than that, the chart of Btc looks exactly like the bear market in 2014 and also recently the SEC is cracking down on illegal bitcoin price manipulation so I expect the price to drop even more.

I think the possibility is still small, we are currently monitoring the progress of news from the SEC, I think it will only last a few days and then bitcoin will increase again, but if there is negative information, it is certain that bitcoin could have the possibility of bitcoin price down to $ 6000 even up to $ 5000.

I am more than hundred person sure that many people want to see bitcoin even below the mentioned values. Bitcoin has become apple of every investor’s eye and why won’t it be after touching 20k dollars in last year. In my opinion, bitcoin can decrease to these values or at least 6k dollars but it will happen in next dip. By dip, I am not referring to recovery phase. It is good to have these fluctuations as it allows to buy this coin at a low rate.

I think even though it seems had experiencing a downward trend, but for the $6k., I think it will not be anymore. I've known from some informs/news that I read in some articles., that it will recover soon as the certain news that affects it has ended. All will come back to a greener.

The coins are in green status again I think its a good sign that btc cant fall down to $6k for now since the value are increasing a bit however we cant accurately tell if that's really the case for the coming days.

Many experts believe bitcoin will soar high before this year ends, positive speculation has an impact for the investors to be bullish in the future price and its a good motivation for long term hodlers.

I do not think the bull period is here as prices of coin are still falling and this might still take sometime before it will rise. the price of bitcoin might have fallen so bad but I do not think it will go down to $6000 but it might fall to $7k. It is better to buy this period as the price is very low than when the price is higher because bitcon will rise very high as soon as the market recovers.

I think that now a possibility to grow is more than to dump. And our goal if BTC breaks $7800-7900 then the price will grow till $9000. If no then go down. So many manipulations with BTC price

each time there is a drop in bitcoin there are newbies like OP coming here and saying price is going lower. if by any chance price actually went to $6000 then OP will create a new account and with that he will create a new topic saying "bitcoin to $5000" and so on. he will repeat this until bitcoin price is back on the rise and it is already too late for him to invest. when price reaches $20,000 that is when he kicks himself and decides to buy and give up the dream of lower prices.

Yes, this is possible. But I do not want to even think about this option and tune in to the positive.
