I want to try solo GPU mine but I don't see FoxCoin.conf in my Appdata folder. CPU mining in the QT wallet isn't working either? Help --> Debug Window --> Console Tab --> "setgenerate true 16" --> Nothing happens. Will there be more markets in the future? This coin had some great potential but so far, it doesn't seem to be taking off.
Edit: Does anyone have problems synchronizing the wallet? I can't keep an active connection to the network. Got only 1 active connection.
Add the nodes on OP. To where? Go and create a foxcoin.conf file in your appdata roaming fox folder and fill it with nodes mentioned in OP

Also, feel free to add node: 109.235.64.156
It runs on a 24/7 server and i will try keep it up that way.
Located in Eastern Europe (good links with Europe and Russia as well).

Thank you, Cryptoma! Will add it to our records. Many newcomers to your pool, I see. No need to say thanks

Many newcomers to your pool, I see. No need to say thanks Thank you. But i also hope that more and stable pools are good for any cryptocurrency. So just trying to help with infrastructure here. Its not much benefit for myself as i run it for free and also give some bonus

So... no solo mining? Following the tutorial in the wallet to solo mine on CPU doesn't work.

On client solo mining is working, nothing special, but its only CPU at the moment. To be able to solo mine with GPU you need extra software + some configuration. But better join the pool.

How did you get it to work? I can't get it to work no matter what I do.
Click "Dig Site", choose "Solo dig" and then press "Start Digging". Buy have in mind this is CPU mining and it might take days or even weeks for you to mine a block.

Ah... So that's how you do it! No need to go through the debug window.
With solo digging, if I don't find a block then I don't get anything, unlike if I was in a pool right? Is there a CPU mining pool then?

To solo mine with the current wallet: Solo Dig -- CPU Cores * 4 -- Scantime 90 -- 127.0.0.1 -- 9919 -- Your RPC user - Your RPC pass RPC User/Pass can be specified with foxcoin.conf. As for pond digging? Ponds support CPU/GPU.. just create a worker and you're good to go. Current wallet doesn't support it yet however.

But I have it set to 3 CPU cores X 4 = 12 threads, yet it's using all my CPU load? Even setting it to 1 thread does the same thing.

Thought I can choose the amount of load by lowering my CPU threads.

WTS 500 FOX PM ME
Please use exchanges listed in OP or use the buy/sell thread. This is not either of those. Also need willing beta testers to test GPU mining in the new qt. Join me on #foxcoin @freenode

Download the developmental release for the qt Here (Windows Binary) Unconfirmed reports of CUDAMiner working... no news on CGMiner. Download at your own risk, all I know about this build is that 'It Compiles!' Also: GPUDigging ONLY supports ponds for the moment. Solo/Herd digging will ignore the GPU settings for the moment.
