Update 1.5 for FoxCoin RELEASED!
Changelog:
- Fox-Ified RPC commands.
- Added sexy syncing bar.
- No seriously, the new syncing bar is awesome.
- Did you see the last one?
- Added inbuilt miner.
- Added statistics page.
- Clients can now connect to up to 16 nodes.
- Fixed bug where block reward would drop to 5 FOX after block 196,000.
- Updated mining tutorial.
- Cleaned up source.

- Fox-Ified RPC commands.
This will not work. If you don't also provide the old method names, I will have to remove your coin from our pool, and I'm sure other pool operators will agree with me on here. We rely on standardized rpc command names, it would be too much work to figure out what the RPC commands for each coin are. Can you please, either change them back, or make it so that the old commands also work. (I thought that using a custom wallet name was bad, but this is way stupider:)) Also you say this is a mandatory update, but don't say when the fork will happen, is it "after block 196,000"? |

hash-so, the git repository was cleaned up a bit, and much work was done to the code hence why the conflict. As for RPC methods you are correct changing naming was a bit off. I'll definitely ping developer about it. Thanks for the heads up! I love your pool if I haven't told you already |

Since this thread is too quiet these days, I'd like to propose a new possible feature to the FOX wallet. Although I'm not sure if it is feasible or not. You all know coins are getting forked and the most important thing when the coin is forked is to update the wallet ASAP. The only way to find out that the new release of the wallet is ready is to check the official site or btalk OP. Which is not always fast. It would be great if the wallet prompted automatically about an update once the new version is ready (like most of antivirus software do). Why isn't that implemented in any existing coin? Is that too difficult to set up? I guarantee the coin with such a feature can become popular among crypto-community. |

I'm sorry for any trouble you may be having. Returning legacy RPC is pretty much finished except for the getinfo/getmininginfo commands which will have their legacy implementations put in shortly (~3-5 hours) Stay tuned. Wow! Will add to OP! |
