Well, that would be pretty cool wouldn't it be!  It technically is possible.

But this is more an experiment of what would happen if you gave away Nxt for free.

BCNext already did this (he gave people a windfall gain for nothing) and we have the results. People got pissed off for a while and moved on. Some people took longer, and tried to make up parody coins.

You're caught in a Dr Who episode. In a few months time a guy is going to come along and start a crusade against NEX because he missed out, and he's going to start TeXMeX, and give that coin away for blow jobs.

Then T-ReX comes along and gets pissed off at TeXMeX and so he'll start .....

Nxt doesn't have a genesis block,  only a initial distribution of coins.   So we got to wait until people express interest.

We don't want to cut short the distribution to abruptly.  That was really a bad move by the originators of NXT.
