Just to let you guys know its the quarkcoin improved minerd and i just tested it for the lulz with the megapools pool and it worked  
Don't know if everything is right but i get accepted shares. The run.bat has the pool connection already in it.

Solomining with it isn't working for me!

You used quark miner without modifications?

Have you look if your address is present on the payout page ? Pool wait some block confirmations before pay

Linux or Windows miner ? If you had use the fake windows miner, your address will not payed

Open market will set the price as something is only worth what others are willing to pay.

Open market will set the price as something is only worth what others are willing to pay.

This is what I don't like about alts. A new coin comes out that is over priced by miners and they rip people off who try to invest, then the price always goes down to a bare minimum. I saw it with all the coins that go on the exchanges. The reason Doge is where it is today is because of the community and the donations. No way I'm paying Dogecoin-like prices for a coin that hasn't proved it is great other than using an anime slogan and brand.

I was using the unaltered quarkcoin miner, which the OP clearly states does not work!
So I compiled the Animecoin miner from OP and now I am getting coins in my wallet.

seems to a be a few people with very low posts pushing new pool miners.

Probably nothing to worry about but be careful as you never know

I tried the ani pool link to minerd.exe, but it won't run with their setup:

./minerd -a anime -o stratum+tcp://ani.minepool.cc:10010 -u Weblogin.Worker -p Worker password

just get the --help thing.
any ideas?
