Thread seems to have turned into nothing but pool tech support and advertisements.

Anywho... IPCO is up to 110 BTC -- does more BTC mean more dev resources and acceleration of the business plan?

Hi everyone,

It's been a couple of days since I gave an update so here it is!

We are currently working a lot on Reddit to build our community. I think we have some great result to date. We are buying ads everywhere and they are clearly working great (around 2% clickthru on Reddit). We already have 465 Reddheads subscribe to our subreddit and it's growing every hour.

Our new logo should be ready soon, hopefully this week. It will be implement everywhere as soon as we receive the final version.

Ricky had some talk with one of our investor who owns a website creation business. He might work with us in the future, but I don't have any confirmation on this yet. We will start working on our new website as soon as we are done with the logo. Our main website will be our central hub where your single account will be linked to every social networks. No need for different account on each social networks.

Today, I finished testing my script to distribute the IPOC coins. I'm glad to inform you that it's working well and I won't have to send all those transactions one by one.

Let me know if you have any questions.

thanks

Great update -- this project is awesome.

Let's just hope that most of us hold onto the ipco coins for at least a little while...

Apparently altexplorer.net is not yet on the new wallet, you still see old data there. And so are quite some miners if you look at the blocks that are still being generated on the old chain (luckily the new chain is quite a bit larger). They probably are thinking they are hitting the jackpot!

I have the same question. If you view the ICPO result page ( http://www.reddcoin.com/ipo-result/ ), there are some people with a 0 in the coins stage 1 field. and others don't.
So depending on this i assume that the distribution has already begun.

Can someone confirm this?

If a person has 0 in stage 1 column it should mean they did not invest until after stage 1 closed. So they did not get those coins. the far right column is the one that matters.

Hi all,

I just created Debian packages for amd64/i386 of latest github source.
Just add the line

Code:

deb http://repo.freevec.org/repo sid main

And do (as root)

Code:

# apt-get install reddcoin-qt

for the UI client, or

Code:

# apt-get install reddcoind

for the deamon.

It's unsigned for now, but I'll add gpg signature soon. Why should you trust my packages? Well, you shouldn't normally, but for now I assure you that I'm not anonymous, I'm a Debian developer myself, markos@debian.org, gpg key 0x6437124C. I've just created the repo for my own use, but everyone is free to use it as well. For now I only have leafcoin, karmacoin, reddcoin packages, but I'd be open to suggestions as well, I've modified and used the actualy pkg-litecoin packaging already used in the litecoin packages in Debian and intend to follow new releases as much as I can. Right now, I think demand would be low for actual inclusion in Debian, hence the need for the extra repo.

I'll also add powerpc and armhf versions of those packages soon.

Great! Can I install this on a 32-bit netbook with Ubuntu 12.0.4?

Great! Can I install this on a 32-bit netbook with Ubuntu 12.0.4?

I think the dependencies might be off, as it's a bit old, but I can try to create debs for ubuntu as well. I'll post an update here once I'm done.

Faucet update:
A total of ~90.000 reddcoins delivered to the 1655 recipients.

I've used some private BTC to promote the faucet, and the Dev's have donated as well.

If you donate reddcoins to the faucet, and the balance reaches 200.000, i will double the payout in the faucet = more and happier newcomers. Faucet donation (reddcoins):
RuJYEU5Tqs2cqb8Ca4rqd4ELpxGvxcZtDh

If you want to donate to the advert-campaign for the reddcoin, click the Deposit here and donate BTC:
https://a-ads.com/campaigns/1666 (You can also see the stats for the campaign)

The Coin Jokes Battle update:
58 jokes in a couple of days! (Not all of them are actual jokes, though.)
= payout of ~ 300 RDD (which is close to nothing)

If you want to help the Coin Jokes battle, which purpose is to promote reddcoin, donate reddcoins directly to the battle here. If the donations are significant, i will raise the upvote-coin-award to make it more fun to participate:
RuqudicmdUQtCRy95amX9r6NLVCqgSc5uE

If you want to help the advert-campaign for the joke battle, click the Deposit here and donate BTC:
https://a-ads.com/campaigns/1677 (You can also see the stats for the campaign)

Everything goes directly to the faucet, battle and campaigns, in order to promote reddcoin! Also the income from the ads on the faucet and joke battle, so don't hesitate to click on those.  Wink

Happy friday!

Redd is holding quite nicely. This is a good time to be mining since there's obviously some good interest in Redd as can be seen on exchanges (namely coinmarket.io). Diff is sitting at a great spot for small and large miners to both be making some good coin. Stick with Redd and it's likely to payout. The dev is working on some good stuff and we as the community need to help promote the coin. Now is a perfect time to grab some people who are switching off of Doge because of the halvening. Tell your internet friends to join us!!

Redd.OakPool.com is STILL giving away Reddcoins to ALL block finders!

Our pool has been running smoothly with no down time. All payouts are processed quickly and support is available! Come to Redd.OakPool.com for more info!
