The Mac download link for 1.1.3 seems to be broken (seems like you forgot to change 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 in the URL).

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Very interesting to know what the exact deadline ( time) is given for the point of decision. Didn't see it here and not giving the right time will bring cryptsy a lot of extra btc. When you will put up your btc too early they are probably of no use, because some else will pass you. But like I said, I am not sure if they gave an exact time, if not then it will be a dirty and tricky game. |

Although I agree that getting added on cryptsy will be good for RDD, I'm against paying BigVern in order for him to make more money (yet from his perspective this is really fucking brilliant though). Maybe we should focus on the exchange BTER and vote here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=502363.0 they add a coin based on the activity of the community, not the willingness to pay big time. Only 67 people have voted here yet, so lets get that number up. If we're added on BTER, cryptsy will follow soon enough, free of charge and we can use the IPO money for further development. |

That's because you're thinking about shitty pump and dump coins that will never survive longer than a few months. We have actual long term goals and aren't looking to jack up the price in a few weeks and then stop. We want this to go FAR beyond 100, 200 satoshi. But not by just pumping the value through fake means. We want to increase demand naturally because people WANT to USE the coin, to use it day to day and integrate it into your daily life. Our goal is NOT to make a few investors rich and get out. I know there's a sense of URGENCY to get onto Cryptsy and Vern set it up all too cleverly. |
