Bought another million units today! I feel like a lot of people are looking at this coin but haven't found a reason to invest. Any good news at all could send this coin skyrocketing!
When they released the staking wallet and moved into PoSV rdd dropped 60%, so be sure to pay attention to the news, and be wary. Oh really? I seem to remember the price going up 300% after the announcement that they were switching to PoSV... Announcement and release are two different things. The coin was already on a downward trend as you can see on your chart when the release occurred. The release of the coin didn't cause the fall, it was just unable to stop it! The release was already expected at that point so it didn't stop the people who were dumping the coin from continuing to dump it! We are now left with a solid group of investors and major dumping has ceased! |

I sure do wish there was a coin that was immune to having people try to profit off it but unfortunately that's not the case! I myself will say that the main reason I am holding this coin is for profit. But the reason I believe there is profit to be made is because of the massive opportunity that a coin branded as "the social coin" has! When one person gives RDD to another, it could start a chain reaction because when they accept the coinage, they become a member of the RDD community and are likely to purchase coins themselves to tip others who they feel deserve it! RDD is a coin that will probably pay off the most to people who hold very long term through any pumps and dumps it may experience. It will start with those who are cryptocurrency savvy, and acceptance will eventually grow to a much larger population just as bitcoin has already done!

I was running the social wallet beta for the last couple of weeks and the expected reward kept moving further out in time, eventually over 20 days. I just fired up the QT style traditional wallet (latest version 1.3.1.2) and that is telling me that I'm expected to earn a reward once per day, which is more in line with what I estimated based on the useful explanations of the PoSV mechanism here. So the question is are we aware that the social wallet is messed up, or was it something I did wrong ?

The issue with invalid time on the social wallet is known. Apparently the RPC call to the daemon was bugged. I believe it is fixed now, although i'm not positive that fix has been released, I believe it has.
Side note: New whitepaper slated for early september. It's getting close and I can't wait for a glimpse into the future of an already solid coin!
