There is probably a service that will text message you when your website is down.
Or if your server is up, and just the apache or mysql is down, then you can do this yourself with cron jobs.

maybe the server got cancelled due to DMCA ? not to hijack this thread... but... i have a fully working clone of this torrent-service which i never released. maybe i get it online if somebody shows real interest. you could show your interest by playing a round of www.satoshitable.com and leave a message about TORRENTZ that could convince me to get some offshore vps and set it up. |

so as we (someone, hopefully) is gonna go ahead and design a btc-powered seedbox, here's my wishlist: - https all the way
- ftp-download
- option to "one-file-zip-it"
- option download from archive-torrents
- resumable downloads
- encryptin optional
- TOR service for uploading .torrent or magnet links
Ideally, I visit the TOR site, upload a magnet, choose some options (zip to single archive? etc etc) and do immediately receive a key/pass to the files which i can use via http and/or FTP to reach the files. |
