I don't think bitcoin has a future it's just a transaction protocol and so moore's law means it will be replaced further down the the line by something smaller, lighter and faster. You can invest in it mow and make  short term gains but the ones left holding the baby will be crying that's for sure.

considering i was miningbefore block 4000 and their premine is suppose to be near this number, it seemed completely fair to me. everybody who missed out on the early start is mad...but they had to. someone got their source code and compiled and started to mine early so they went ahead and released it..it was the rite thing to do.

The right thing to do would have been to relaunch. get rid of all of the premined coins and start from scratch on a new fork.
