All PMs from yesterday are paid out.  Have to reload for the next batch.

If you still have balance at:  asrb.cryptopools.com, PM me your username, email address and ASR address.

If your account is locked, that means you have been paid in full.  If you think your account is locked for any other reasons, PM me and I will check.

The Astrocoinpool is on block 8516.

The difficulty is too high for the current hasrate, since it only adjusts "once per day", there are 124 more block at current difficulty, but with the current network hashrate it looks like it might take at least 50 hours to actually get to the difficulty adjustment.  This is a self re-enforcing problem, no one wants to mine the coin because difficulty is too high, so few blocks are solved and difficulty remains high.  You need a really dedicated core network to use this kind of difficulty scheme and astrocoin doesn't have it now, especially after everyone abandoned the pools due to all the various issues.

It takes 120 block to confirm, current block solve time is about 25 minutes according to astrocoinpools average.  You can do the math when your unconfirmed balance will be confirmed.

the coin should have the ability to adjust automatically the diff regardless the hashrate.
i think that other more advanced coins can do that (PPC?) Wink

Has anyone who was confirmed to have mined during the first 15 minutes of launch (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=425367.msg4700064#msg4700064) heard anything back about the final division of the 1015 coins?

I figure it has to do with the difficulty and them being way too busy with everything, but I haven't heard anything back from them for days.  Huh

OFFICIAL UPDATE ON WINDOWS QT

Since no one is volunteering to build Windows QT, we will have our team rebuild the client ourselves tomorrow during working hours. If your windows QT doesn't have problems syncing, that's okay, you can still use it. However if your client is not syncing, we plan to release a fix tomorrow.

Thank you for the support, thank you to all the pools who worked with us last night addressing issues with the Astrocoin network. We have giveaways coming next week. Stay tuned!

My wallet is syncing fine, glad to see that the developer is working on this. I will try to keep mining but only have 400kh/s.

I already got my wallet too!

weird tx id's, but according to the client they appear valid. hoping someone can explain this. saw these tx ids in a users account, just before noticing the asr wallet was not matching up with user balances on the website. i'm unsure of how the tx's below appear valid in the client?
